We love this place, the appetizer with steak wrapped asparagus is our favorite. They have a coconut margarita that’s not on the menu that’s sooo good. We’ve tried a good variety from our visits here and we’ve never been disappointed. Expect a wait on the weekend but worth the wait

Very high energy joint. Very busy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was out of this world. Basically tried and shared a bunch of appetizers. Everything was great. Make sure you make a reservation. We'll be back!!!
The food was just okay, nothing special, while the drinks were disappointing. The atmosphere was fine but nothing memorable. Given the quality, the prices felt unjustifiably high. Overall, it’s an overrated spot that doesn’t live up to the hype.

Great atmosphere, great service, sushi lacks a lot of presentation, it was falling apart as I was eating it, sushi chefs need to definitely to fix how they create the rolls, I think they are rushing orders, idk it was a BIG turn off especially for the price range, Metairie location had way better presentation!

We had a great experience as a group of six having dinner here on NYE. The food, service and vibe were all excellent.
I’m surprised at the comments saying it’s outrageously expensive. I found the prices to be very average and fair for a nice sushi restaurant. $18-$22 for a special roll, which are large, deliciously elaborate and worth every penny. You can also order standard sushi rolls like a crunchy roll, California roll, Philadelphia roll, etc. A classic salmon roll was only $7-8. Again, standard. A bottle of hot sake was $9.
Everything we had tasted phenomenal. The server was especially helpful in letting me know what my non-raw options were as a pregnant woman.
Yes, the music is loud, but we didn’t have to yell to hear each other. We didn’t find it to be a hindrance to our conversation.
Just went here with my boyfriend & stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. By the bar staff & the wait staff. No one would even look up at us. We are both black customers, in our early 30s. I only bring up race because I couldn’t rationalize all of the wait staff not even acknowledging our presence as anything other than racism. Very disappointing because I’ve eaten here many times & I absolutely love their sushi.
