Me and my friend payed to park, had an online reservation and the doors were literally LOCKED. We called the phone a few times and nobody would answer. We sat for like 20 minutes and nothing. Waste of time.

Obnoxiously loud. Food is too salty. Makes food hot without asking. Cheese dip is ok.

Tacos were incredible and the blueberry mint marg was the best drink I had the whole in New Orleans. Went here at 11:45 during set break at a show at Republic and the service was fast and awesome. Wish I was there rn

We ordered nachos and a taco salad , To Go. We walked to pick up our food, and walked back to the hotel. We were so hungry, but when we took a bite of the food it was sooooo incredibly salty, we couldn't eat it. So disappointed. The pics looked great. "You cannot judge a book by the cover."
You could really hurt someone with the amount of sodium you're using. Maybe, talk to your chef.

We really enjoyed our dinner! The chips and salsa (particular the salsa!!) were wonderful, the margaritas were good, and the food was great! The chicken burrito was delicious!! And the tacos were as well. Definitely worth a pop in if you’re looking for a cool vibe and some good Mexican style

We loved our experience at The Taco! The waitress was attentive and made us feel very taken care of. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and the food excellent. Quick service. Enjoyed their paloma very much. We had the chicken tinga tacos, fajitas, and love the molcajete bowl when we have come in the past. Highly recommend!

It was fine, but doesn’t live up to the standard New Orleans has set.

It was girls night. We waited for service at the bar for 20 minutes when there were only 4 people sitting at the bar. So we finally decided to sit at a table. Our waitress was really attentive and our food came out super fast! The only thing that put a dent in our night was the slow intolerable blonde at the bar serving drinks.

This is a place strictly for kids. The music is too loud to talk, we ordered guacamole with chips and the guac was very spicy, she did not ask if we wanted that way. My girl ordered two tacos with pico de gallo and it was so spicy it would have you leaking from your nostrils. She couldn’t eat it and again, the waitress didn’t ask if we wanted it spicy or not. I ordered a “wagyu” burger medium which had the consistency of a hockey puck and so drenched in sauce/mayo that one bite the hockey puck patty would slip out the side. Definitely not for me… but for drinks and a numbness for incredibly spicy food then it’s for you

Great tacos. The rest of our food was cold, and didn’t taste fresh at all. Maybe it was an off day for them.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this experience was unacceptable. Went for dinner and the restaurant was not even busy but they were out of carne asada and shrimp tacos at 730pm. Ordered the birria taco and it was soggy, like a wet napkin. Margaritas were terrible. So disappointing because it was once decent when they first opened. They are also expensive! Won’t be returning back!
