I eat sushi like I breathe air back at home. This place was definitely better than the other sushi spots I've visited in the south so far. The quality of the food was good but the portions were very small for the price. If the fish is hard to obtain then I understand. For reference, we got the rainbow roll and spider roll and they were only half the size we were expecting. Nonetheless, the staff was very sweet!
It was hot outside and we arrived early, planning on waiting outside until they opened. Nope, they opened the door and gave us cold water and sat us down. Food was great and very reasonable, especially for New Orleans and service was great. (Not a cheap place anymore) They have nice menus but I didn't get the picture! Will go back during next visit.
Royal Sushi is consistently wonderful! One of our go to spots. The sushi, service and vibes are great. In a city that lacks really good ramen, theirs is some of the best I have found. Never had anything to complain about here! Highly recommend.
