Worth. The. Wait. There's a line for a reason. Just get in it, and build up your appetite; you're gonna need it. Portions are big and reasonably priced; value is good here. They do get busy, so be prepare to wait a bit for the foods to come out. Pro-tip: over order. Just get everything that you think you want to eat and if you don't finish, you've have lunch/dinner tomorrow square away. Better than having to wait to order more. Man, their bennies are to die...
Lively place for brunch. While we were there they were playing uplifting pop, rock, indie music. I felt it gave the servers along with the patrons a little pep in their step. We were served by a delightful server. The wait time for food was reasonable. Everything came out hot and delicious. We ordered the Chicken St. Charles and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend.
The food was fine, I thought the shrimp and grits were good but the biscuit seemed dry and stale. We came because the reviews were great but I think people can find equally good or better food elsewhere for the same price. Service is great but we were sat outside next to trash cans and you can smell human urine.
