Brisket tacos are a must try. I need to go back for dinner and try a Margarita.

This was the best meal o have had in years! I had the Calamari and Salad with the complimentary Salsa and chips.
The food...every item was fresh and house made. The vinaigrette on the salad was awesome, the roumelaude sauce and salsa was made fresh. The Calamari was fresh and fried to a crisp perfection. The service was awesome and the day was beautiful. It is mecican at its base with a NOLA flair! Simply delicious food at this hidden gem on Esplanade Ave just down towards City Park from Cansenco Supermarket! You have to eat here! Price was awesome...you won't find better food and value anywhere!

I've been here a number of times and feel it's a bit inconsistent but yesterday I had the Chile Relleno with chicken and it was amazing!

I ordered the seafood omelette. The shrimp were flavorless. I only saw two over cooked crawfish tails and the crabmeat was non existent. I have never had a perfectly fluffy biscuit that was cold until now. The flavor was good and the biscuit was light. I just wish it was warm. I wanted some butter or honey but our server never came back to our table until we were finished with our meal. This my first visit to Sante Fe and I was very disappointed.

This was our fourth visit to the restaurant, and it couldn’t have been more perfect—especially for such a special occasion, my wife’s birthday. We had a party of eight and enjoyed outdoor seating, good service by Reggie, and exceptional food. I recommend this place without a single reservation!

A very nice neighborhood treat ☺️ The crabcakes are amazing as well as rueda de huevo. And the chocolate flan ❤️🔥
The entire staff is so accommodating. The food is a unique blend of local seafood and Latin American dishes with ambiance to boot 👢. Fresh and local ingredients, amazing Margarita’s. The only gripe I have is the waitress from Connecticut who kicked me out during jazz fest for bringing Tajin for my Margarita rim.

The food was good--a nice change--and they were very accommodating in that we did not have a reservation. We were rushed out, however, and told that we should "pay now" because our server's shift was over. We wanted dessert!!!!! It was said with a smile, but we didn't find it to be too endearing. Another solution should have been provided. This is NOLA! Amazing food and service is a given....didn't have the service at Santa Fe so 3 stars
Service was very slow & when the waiter finally arrived, he was terrible The food was edible but not exciting Would not recommend

Personally, I am not a big fan of brunch menus due to my egg allergy. At some there are alternative offerings, others not so. We decided to go to Sante Fe and they were still doing their brunch menu. The good news is that they had a number of dishes I could eat that did not include eggs. Since it was brunch, we were able to order Sangria and Bloody Mary's for only $5.00. Both were very refreshing. The waiter brought us a basket of chips and salsa which were very good. For entrees, we had Bolino De Cangrejo which consisted of fresh lump crab cake served with roasted tomato Creole sauce, creamy shrimp & crawfish, choice of egg and biscuit and Fresh Fish of the Day, which was Red Snapper, grilled, served with sautéed fresh vegetables, citrus beurre blanc and roasted vegetable potato hash. Both dished were very good. The Red Snapper was cooked just right and the Crab Cakes excellent. For dessert we had their Tres Leches. So goood! The ambiance has an old feel of Sante Fe, New Mexico. The wait staff very good. Highly recommend.
Just the best - every time! The margaritas, queso and all the entrees are delicious. Consistent and the best staff. Dog friendly...we love Santa Fe. It is our go to restaurant for every occasion. I can't say enough about how good it is.
You get chips and salsa when you sit down, which is lovely. We ordered some queso which was thick and not very flavorful. It did not come with chips. We asked for more salsa, which we understood to be three dollars and expected it to come with chips, too. Nope. So we had two salsas and one queso and one basket of chips. Not nearly enough chips. Our server was very nice. And the other dishes we had, the shrimp and the quesadilla were good. But disappointing that you pay $14 for queso and salsa and don’t get any additional tortilla chips. They’re cheap! Beautiful Patio and outdoor dining. Not to be missed when it’s nice out.
Food was top notch and good portions. Salsa was the best I have had in a very long time. Laid back atmosphere and very attentive servers. Worth making it a stop on your New Orleans visit.
A perfect place to spend a good evening in New Orleans, away from the noisy bustle of Bourbon street. Proper food, nice cocktails, good musical animation. A super welcoming boss and boss who speaks French perfectly (they will explain why). Appreciable for us French Prices are rather low compared to those in the USA. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. We went back to France You will remain as one of our best memories Good luck with your wonderful adventure.
