The patio was beautiful, the food was great. I loved the queso. But the best part of our experience was our server, Kristy. She gave the best service I've had since I moved to New Orleans, even for a last minute, late night bite. I'm so glad I live in the neighborhood, I'll definitely be back.

Everything was pretty good, but I only gave four out of five stars because I thought it was very rude of the servers clearing tabled to dump drinks out at my feet into the bushes. Take the extra step of carrying that back to the dishwasher please!

This might be the classiest super-casual indoor/outdoor dining in New Orleans. Lale and Carlos have created an atmosphere here that makes it easy to enjoy time with neighbors, friends, and family. Over the years Santa Fe Restaurant has become its own little community. I never feel rushed here, and I always feel welcome.

This was my first time going to the restaurant so I don’t know what they have been going for 10 years. I when you search for the restaurant it takes you to the Google information with hours and whether they are open or closed. Why call when Google shows they are open. That’s the attention to detail, not updating the Google information. All it takes is to coordinate the Google information with the vacation they obviously need.

Other worldly terrible experience. Went with a few moms for a fun night out and quick break from our kids. After only 1 marg, casual chit chat, and a few laughs the old bags at the table next to us complained we were too loud (the acoustics suck in there, and as a generally loud Mexican restaurant, I can assure you-- our volume was naturally Nawlins--nothing more!) The table was moved, but then we were essentially cut off with our server never returning and another server asking if we were done with our entrees--we hadn't even ordered yet!! We were in awe, asked for the check and left as the restaurant staff didn't even have the courtesy to talk to us. 1. We were there significantly before that table was seated and 2. We were about to order full meals and another round of drinks. Well, needless to say we won't be back. We ended up relocating to another Mexican restaurant to enjoy our Moms Night Out that provided exceptional service, actually attended to us, and let us order food. Santa Fe was a huge disappointment.
*After the restaurant's response, I feel it equally important to add that the manner in which our table was treated, as patrons who were there first and consuming food and beverages, is shameful for a "reputable" restaurant. Additionally, no identifying information was included regarding the table who complained.

This was such an amazing experience. We sat outside and watched the rain fall and had some delicious food!! We had the curry mussels, tuna tostadas, and each one of the tacos. And the tres leches cake 10/10. You have to stop by!!
