This place rarely has patrons which made me wonder how they stay in business until I figured out that the store is just a front for the much more lucrative side hustle. Parking in that area is horrific due to Venezia and Brocato, which are always popping unlike smoothie king. I parked for less than 5 minutes since not a living soul was in the store and only an extremely healthy looking rat(probably the only creature who gets anything from smoothie king) in the always empty parking lot. I thought it was closed. I come out approximately 3 minutes later, if that, to find my car jacked up by a tow truck. $140 cash was demanded of me. After mugging me, a truck that wasn't even parked in the lot was then lifted and sitting in the corner of the parking lot for more than half an hour. I saw that truck and it WAS NOT blocking the driveway but I'm sure that will be their excuse for holding it for ransom. I suppose when you can't sell overpriced goods you have to find some way to pay the bills. Hopefully karma will come to the tow truck driver who gets $50 per transaction and also the smoothie king owner. I cannot wait to see that useless, wasted space boarded up and closed for good.

Sign on the door says they close at 9pm. But they literally shut the door 15 minutes prior and said they were counting the drawer. Respect your hours or change them, we visit your location to get your product not get disrespected. If you check my profile I rarely leave bad revirews unless deserved. Don't come here unless you got "plenty of time" to make it.

Visited this location on a UPSIZE FRIDAY, as I like to call it. To be fair, I ordered in the app, so this review is mostly about the quality of the food, the physical location & the customer service. The app: ordering in the app was very easy. Although there are a lot of places to go in the app, it pretty much is straightforward; smoothie bowls, smoothies, nutritional snacks, discount & check out. The value: whether in the app or in the store itself, prices have increased. I get it, supplies are more expensive, less people are going to work, and it's just inflation so you pony up the extra for what you want and you keep it moving. That's exactly what I did this time around. I paid $11.99 for the bowls and because today was "Upsize Friday", as I call it, I got a 32 ounce for the price of a 20 ounce. Three items and my bill was $33 and some change. I feel like we could've sat down and had breakfast for that price. However, I wanted to try to the bowls and I'm glad that I did. The bowls were quite tasty. I believe the one I had was made with açai fruit as the main ingredient and then I tasted some oats and lots of mangoes and some other things like blueberries, and some other deliciousness Definitely checking it off my bucket list, I don't know how many more times I will repeat the purchase but I did enjoy it.The customer service: as I walked in, I do not recall anyone welcoming me to Smoothie King however, I don't know if that is there protocol or policy, so I was unbothered by that. However, entering into the store itself, it smelled quite fruitful and obviously that's understood because of the fruit and all the fixings. I walked over to the pick up area for mobile orders and my order was not there. So I waited because I realized it was 11:05a. My order was not to be done until 11:12a. However, the young lady behind the counter asked me if I was there to pick up an order I told her yes, and she proceeded to push my order out to me. I was in and out lickety-split. Another #StickAndMoveCaper, you know I love these. The OVERALL EXPERIENCE: overall from start to finish, from the time I entered the parking lot to the time I exited the parking lot. This was one of the better experiences at a Smoothie King store. I was able to place my order, skip the line, pick up my ACCURATE order and leave. The store was clean. The parking lot was too. Few spaces in the back for parking so off-street parking may be what you need to do. It is on a corner, so you have quite a few areas to park. I look forward to returning to this location to repeat the same #StickAndMoveCaper.

As is tradition with many places in New Orleans, this place likes to say they are "closed" before they're actually closed. The advertised closing time is 9pm, I showed up at 8:53pm, knowing exactly what I wanted. It would have taken less than 7 mins to make. I could see the clerk in there with the lights on and everything, but the door was locked. Furthermore, the neon "Open" sign was on in the window. At least other places in New Orleans, when they pull this fake "closed" stunt, will turn off the Open sign. All signs indicated that this place was still open.If your closing hour is 8:50pm, say so. Don't say 9pm and then close at 8:50.

Horrible customer service....I was skipped when placing my order beccause "a regular customer " came in, then I was told I couldn't customize my smoothie. I've never been told that at any other location. All I asked for was no water, sub for almond milk and extra strawberries. I will not be going back to this location anymore.

This place is super close and convenient for me, within walking distance to my home in Mid-City.They have generous servings, the middle size is 32 Oz, perfect.They have an extensive menu, I went with the immune-builder with sweet strawberries, delicious. So good I opted for it 2 days in a row.Would definitely return many times over, the service is attentive and friendly.

Well, we parked our car behind the store, there were about 3-4 vacant parking spot at that time. And we planed to go to neighboring ice cream store first to buy an ice cream for my daughter and will back to have a smoothie. A middle age white man rushed out and shouted to us, we explain just 3 mins to buy an ice cream nearby and we will buy smoothie here. He yelled like: Leaving your car for 1 min here I will tow your car and sue you!The most ugly face I ever see! Unbelievable!

They will tow your car in a heartbeat! Even if you get a smoothie, do not so much as pick up anything next door! I live in the neighborhood. This is common. Do NOT park there for ANY reason. They must be getting a kickback or something. They won’t hesitate to tow your vehicle.
