Snapper's Seafood Restaurant

Our meal was amazing. I got the Blackened Redfish with the French beans and salad and the gf got the salmon. Both tasted fantastic. If I ever come back to New Orleans I'm definitely hitting this place up again. 100% recommend.

This was hands down the worst food and dining experience I've ever had. The crab cake was terrible, and only one for $12 is criminal. The caesar salad was just sad lettuce and the cheapest dressing and croutons you can buy. The oyster shells kept breaking and almost chipped my tooth. The server only took off the oysters despite us barely eating anything. The manager was unapologetic and said that taking off the oysters was "the best he could do". I manage a restaurant so I generally have empathy as every restaurant has bad days but everyone around us also seemed unsatisfied. Don't bother wasting your money here.

We happened upon this place and are so glad! This is a cozy restaurant with quiet Jazz music. The owner, Dale, his wife and the rest of the staff worked to ensure everything was great. Our drinks were amazing. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious.

Blacken redfish not blackened and had bones. Fries served cold. Beer warmish. Crawfish etouffe had no crawfish. Small place but service is not good at all. Crab Cake was good! Price at Tacklebox is about the same and one block away. Everything was excellent at Tacklebox. Avoid this place and get a good cajun meal.

This is the worst I have ever been treated at a restaurant. I ordered something on the menu I had never tried before and I had asked questions about the food when it arrived. My waitress proceeded to give me attitude and be rude over simple and polite questions (ie how do I properly eat the food). Next, the waitress started bad mouthing me to their coworkers and I was shocked. This was to all of their coworkers and repeating things I hadn’t even done. I was literally being bullied. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome at a restaurant, especially for what I could gather to be no reason.
