Seriously delicious. Actually was the best meal we ate in New Orleans. The seafood gumbo was the best we ate out of 4 notable restaurants. Great service. Great ambience. I highly recommend.

Food was mediocre as are many restaurants in the FQ. Surprisingly, the gumbo was good - it had a great roux. The burger was really overcooked, and the cocktails were meh.

The service for NYE was extremely poor. It was not properly managed at all. Arrived on time for reservation to be told our table was not ready when half the restaurant was empty. Went to the bar to grab a drink while waiting patiently. No one ever came to us after 30 minutes. Husband went back and they said they could find us when table was ready and gave it away. The bar is literally just steps from the hostess stand. Finally sat 45 minutes after reservation to wait to be greeted by server. He appeared to be running lost tables himself. Waited forever for drinks. In fact got first course before drinks. When food arrived husband's course was cold (Seafood Gumbo and Cornbread) seafood gumbo had no seafood just the shell of a crab. My meal was like warm but tasty. Ordered more drinks that never came and husband went to bar to order new drinks, so server took them off the bill. Final straw of disappointment was going to the ladies room before leaving. While using the restroom, someone outside knocked a male, I responded to let him know I was inside...he still came in and I kept speaking to let him know I was in there and saying hello with no response. He continue to pick up the restroom and take trash out while I was using the restroom. It was the most uncomfortable situation ever. Told my husband who asked for manager, who had already left for the evening. This was not even 10:30pm. Reviews allowed me to book originally and for an evening like this everything was a disappointment. Will continue to put this info out there as the service was unacceptable.

I made a reservation weeks in advance and informed OpenTable that we would be late for our 7:30 PM booking. They acknowledged our delay, but when we arrived around 7:50 PM, we were made to wait despite the availability of numerous tables. It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed on one of their busiest nights of the year. As we were visiting from out of town, I cannot recommend this place. While they did comp my two beers, it still didn't make up for the overall experience.

Gorgeous restaurant with smiles all around with the staff. Our server Mariah was wonderful and super friendly, told us about city where we could go next. Delicious and speedy food, steak and the seafood pasta;) Loved the drinks, we ordered our usual drinks and they were perfect. Can't wait for our next visit!

We were there on a Monday early evening and the only diners. Our drink order of gin and tonic and a Bloody Mary took an eternity to arrive after ordering. My wife's Bloody Mary took another five minutes. The dozen broiled oysters were nicely served and quite tasty. Another long wait for my fish gumbo and her chicken gumbo. Her's arrived Luke warm and was sent back to be reheated. It was tasty and filling. My fish and sausage gumbo was long on sausage and short on seafood. The mini crab claw contained no crab meat. We were disappointed. The timing was such that we did not only not share our drinks we also did not share our dinners. We visit NOLA every December for over 10 years to celebrate and enjoy the food. This experience was a huge disappointment and we are not going to put it back on our return list nor recommend it

The best meal we've had in New Orleans in a long time. Chef Stuart must be a magician--the meal he sent out was delicious and definitely New-Orleans style (which my wife and I had wanted.) The service was outstanding and the bill was more than reasonable--we'll be back soon, and often!

Food was excellent, Allison was so sweet and attentive. The pimento cheese and cracklings are delicious. 3rd block burger with bacon jam so so yummy.

The restaurant is really nice, is unique and is just a good place to eat. The food was great, except for the gumbo, it was a bit on the chewy side. The server was great, but the overall service was slow. I would definitely go back.

Odd experience. First, the menu on the website didn't match. The waitress essentially had nothing good to say about any dish on the menu. Food was mediocre. Drinks were good. We didn't get dessert since our waitress said everything tasted like plastic. I would avoid this place.

We came during brunch and everything we ordered (Gumbo, Crab Cake Benedict, Yogurt Parfait, Banana French Toast, Beignets with Caramel and the Classic—2 Eggs/2 Meet/2 toast/with breakfast Potatoes) was amazing!!! My favorites would have to be the French toast, beignets, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was seasoned so well with a great portion sizes. The service was wonderful. They really looked after us and our two little ones (despite the atmosphere, it was a very kid friendly environment). I would highly recommend 3rd Block Kitchen.

We came in with a large party on a Tuesday night and the kitchen and staff clearly weren't ready for a party that big. The food was pretty mediocre....especially for new orleans.

We had a quiet dinner here on Sunday. It was lovely! Food was amazing, very nice ambiance, staff was so friendly. Definitely going back next trip to NOLA

food was bland and tasteless Service was at an adequate level what let the dining experience down was the quality of the food.
