This location is inside the Sheraton on Canal Street and it truly has pretty miserable staff. While I was waiting for my order I noticed what I believed to be BUGS crawling in and out of a piece of equipment on the back countertop and when I asked the barista she confirmed they were and explained it was from the sweet syrups used which attracted the "gnats" .... can you say DISGUSTED!!! I have never in my life seen such a thing at a Starbucks and I've been to Starbucks in places hotter and more humid than NOLA in December and have never encountered this ... I now understand why the staff wasn't too happy because if I had to work in and around conditions like this I wouldn't be happy either.

All the reviews about this store are correct ! Service is horrible. Long lines in the morning. Staff dont care - half listening to your order and half chatting amongst themselves or checking phone. Dont expect the standard Starbucks experience in this store. You are better off going to other coffee shops nearby.

It's one of the busiest Starbucks I've been to. Not too many near the French quarters. The line took 45 min to order. Got my name wrong. But my drink was good. Can't ever go wrong with the pumpkin cold view with a hazelnut and extra shot. Now I'm ready for this game. ? #SaintsVSBears (neither my team)

Manager is not people person and not a good representation of statbucks, which I go to often in many locations...when attempting to get a refill on my coffee, he didn't alow his staff to ring up a refill and made me pay full price again...not the level of service I expect from

The girls that work here seem like they hate their job. They were not friendly at all and seemed bothered to have customers. Also in my experience they spoke very quietly and were hard to hear, but then seemed to get annoyed when I asked them to repeat what they said so I could hear. I went to this location three times because it was the closest to my hotel but each time the experience left me thinking "why did I come back?". The second time was on my birthday and they would not accept my free Starbucks birthday drink on the day of my birthday but allowed me to use the app to pay. Don't go here unless you have to. Terrible representation of Starbucks.
Nice Starbucks inside a Sheraton hotel. None of the tables have any electrical outlets, but there is a wall of electrical outlets with desk seating inside the Sheraton hotel. Barista was very friendly and helpful.

A strimmer friend was here a few days ago and got the "Medicine Ball" tea drink. I got it as well in the Venti size. It tastes amazing!!! My new favourite drink!!!! The line/queue wasn't long when I arrived. Service was fast and awesome. Not sure if this was the same person who served my friend or not but she knew exactly what it was and I didn't have a long wait for it. Ambiance was well and good but this Starbucks is in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel on Canal Street in Downtown New Orleans and is typical of what you might expect for a lobby unit. Some tables and chairs but no outlets for charging. Anyone can come in for a spell regardless of if you have a room or not. Overall 10/10 experience
