It is easy to forget the Steak Knife amidst the other, newer spots along Harrison (and no visibility in the online reservation apps). That is a shame. We had a lovely dinner here last night. The service was perfect. The atmosphere including the live piano was really nice. And we snagged a reservation for 5 on 15 minutes’ notice on a Friday night. After surviving hurricanes and a fire, this family-owned restaurant has thrived in the Lakeview neighborhood. It hasn't caved to the increased prices of other steak restaurants but instead continues to provide a quality dining experience for families, business dinners and other clientele.
