This place is great. The Macaroons are top notch and they have other desserts too. I just purchased one of their king cakes which tasted as good as it looked. It is sort of traditional but more moist imo.

Such a sweet place and they have the best treats.

This place only has 65 or so reviews and the other two locations with 700+ reviews are 4.5 and 4.3 stars. This place is good.

Am visiting from out of town and I guess this location just opened. Beautiful interior, nice staff, and quality food. I ordered a cherry gelato and a freshly ground espresso.

Ignore the current rating and check this place out. Other locations have proven successful and I had a good experience.

Delicious desert shop with many ready to go items! They make great coffee and ice cream too!

I went to Sucré in New Orleans for the first time and the bakery itself was really nice and clean. I tried the citrus madeleine and it was yummy, no complaints about the pastry at all.

What really ruined the experience for me was the cashier. She was chewing, smacking lips loudly right in my face while I was ordering, which felt really unprofessional. When I asked questions, she answered like she did not want to be there. I also did not know they do not take cash, so when I tried to pay with cash she got a little attitude.

What made it more awkward was that the other worker who helped my friends was actually really friendly and kind, so I guess I just got unlucky. The bakery itself is nice, but the customer service really depends on who you get.

Love this location. Only ever had good experiences here with the person working behind the counter, and while the desserts are pricey, they are worth a splurge!

We stopped by Sucré specifically because of another review mentioning gluten-free and dairy-free options. The place is beautiful and the pastries look absolutely flawless. But it only ended up tempting me and leaving me a bit frustrated, because the only dairy-free options were three fruit sorbets.
I cook a lot and I know it’s possible to make amazing desserts without gluten or dairy. It’s simply not this shop’s specialty.
If you don’t have dietary restrictions, go for it — everything looks fantastic. The girls at the counter on Magazine Street are super kind, and their knowledge of the menu is impressive!

Stay away from this place. Went today and it was empty. No one behind counter so I yelled repeatedly and two people came out and acted surprised that a customer would actually be there. I ordered a Carrot cake muffin that was almost inedible. Completely dried out and devoid of any moisture. This was a pricey item and laughably bad!

Quite possibly the worst customer service we’ve ever experience. We stood at the gelato bar for about 10 minutes with no one in the store before the employee acknowledged us with “what y'all want” then proceeded to eat and then put on gloves while saying “y'all have a problem”. We left without making a purchase because we were uncomfortable. With that said we won’t be going back.

The staff was so incredibly kind and outgoing! Sucre can sometimes be hit or miss. This time was not a miss. This brownie was to die for! Only thing I wish was that they were able to heat it up, but they said they couldn’t because of the gold flake.

While visiting the Garden District, we came across this place. The staff was so polite and the decor was just plain cute. We were heading back to the trolley, so I grabbed a few things to go. The macarons were yummy, but the pistachio raspberry was amazing! It's a good thing I don't live closer because I fear I would be a regular. I will be visiting the next time I'm in NOLA though!

Disappointing!

The girls that work here are sooooo nice! But the desserts were mediocre. The macaron was nice but I’ve had better, but the lavender citron cake was bad. It didn’t taste like lavender at all despite being bright purple and the citrus was so weak. It wasn’t even a good lemon cake, it was just bland and sweet. The space is so cute, it’s a shame the desserts aren’t worth the visit.

Really great customer service and we all enjoyed our sweets too!

they are very rude

I have no idea why the big girl with the blonde hair was so beyond rude kept butting in in our convos and screaming. The girl with the glasses was so sweet but they gotta let that unprofessional thing go
