This is definetely one of my favorite dessert shops in the city. The decir and place is classy, fun and, cate. It definetly gives off good vibes. It is a bit pricy for ice cream and desserts but trust me; it is totally worth it. Definetley a good stop when strolling around Magazine Street. Loved it :)))Kid-friendliness: It is great if your kids love a tasty cool treat!

Not the same place it used to be. You can't get more than one flavor of gelato in a cup, you would have to purchase 2 separate cups. That's just weird for a gelato place, plus it's

Interior 5/5 Presentation 5/5 Service 5/5 Drinks 1/5 Pastries 1/5 Price 2.5/5 Simply put Sucre is a cute place with a great ambiance yet disappointing drinks and food. The price for the pastries were very high yet the taste was stale and disheartening, the drinks were nothing special flavorless and unsweetened. Overall it was not a great experience but the service was good and it did look very cute.

Sucre used to be absolutely wonderful, but now both locations always smell like someone passed gas (bacteria? Cleaning problem?) and the quality of the product has become quite hit and miss. On a recent visit the Gelato I ordered to pair with my other item had frost all over it and did not taste fresh. To sum, it's fallen on hard times and is sorely in need of new ownership and/or management.

Too sweet. I know it was a cookie but all I tasted was sweet. Really expensive. $14 for a scoop of ice cream and a cookie?? That is ridiculous even in a tourist area.

Such a great little spot. Art deco interior is fitting. Gelato and ice cream was so good. Macarons (according to my daughter) gave the best from Paris a good run for the money.

While this is not a breakfast spot (they do have chocolate muffins and blueberry muffins if you are looking for something for breakfast). We just wanted to indulge while on vacation…and we did. We had gelato, macaroons, cupcakes, cheesecake, eclairs, a strawberry dessert, and another chocolate dessert. Everything was absolutely amazing!

We had a great time checking out Sucre and having some macarons and a cheesecake. It's so pretty inside and the staff were all so friendly. Definitely worth checking out again.

I received a King Cake from Sucre this season and it was incredible! So fresh and moist with a delicious filling. It tasted like it was just out of the oven and stayed fresh for many days after. The best King Cake in Nola!
