My family and friends have ordered from sucre via Uber Eats. The desserts were so stale and hard that you can throw them at a wall and put a hole in it. The food was unprotected and exposed to the driver and whomever they have in the car with them (young children, pets, etc.)sucre is supposed to protect the food with a seal-that is Uber Eats' policy. Sometimes they use a seal-most times they don’t. My last order there was no seal. Everything was wide open (my friend had the same issue). I filed a complaint with Uber Eats and they refunded all of my money. This bakery knows the policy and they ignore it at the customer’s expense. THIS IS A PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD. I will no longer order from this bakery and will alert the public on every platform that I can.

Had a very fluffy king cupcake, it was good. However, 8$ for a cupcake is pretty steep (hence why i am not giving 5 stars as it wasn’t mind blowing for the price) and also the staff member knew nothing about what she was selling

Pretty pastry, but grossly sweet. Essentially pure sweetness and no other favors. I'm guessing this review doesn't matter for them as they would have foot traffic regardless in that location. I'm guessing they are not incentified to make something, that tastes good.

Excellent desserts and great service. However, the owner desperately needs to consider having two employees working the dessert counter. Having one employee making drinks and preparing desserts for patrons creates an unnecessarily long queue and overwhelms the worker on duty.

This store appears to be a French patisserie, yet offers nothing from an authentic one. The cashier is super friendly, and I love the overall atmosphere. The desserts look inviting, but I should have left them untouched in the showcase. I strongly disagree that the products are overpriced, because the nid d'abeille, for example, is so generously stuffed with 99.99% pure sugar that you can easily take an image of sucrose crystals from it with a SEM. A safety warning for any honeybees viewing this review: you will literally get diabetes having it.

I wish I could give the atmosphere 10 stars! Such a cool vibe! One of the employees was a little annoying and we tried several times in the case. They were all so amazingly beautiful, but I feel like they were prettier than they tasted. But I would return to this unique dessert shop.

This is a very popular place and had a long line when we went. We got the tart de caramel chocolat and two of the bananas foster macarons. The chocolate tart was really good. The macarons were good, but I don't know if I'd get that flavor again. The inside is nice, but they don't seem to have staff cleaning off tables. We just moved some dishes aside. It's definitely a pricier dessert place. I liked it, but I might go somewhere else on my next visit to NOLA.
