Ice cream was truly the best I've ever had. Full of flavor and so creamy. Service was delightful, friendly and quick. If you get a chance and are an icecream lover. You should make this a stop on your to-do-list!
We wanted a simple ice cream place with good quality, and we found one - Sweet Saint! The shop (not much more than a small room) was nothing to speak of and they had only a dozen or so flavors, but the quality was great and the scoops were huge. Very nice moment after a typically large New Orleans lunch!
There's a reason why this is almost a perfect 5 on the reviews! Ken (the proprietor) was a great host - shared his approach to making ice cream while I enjoyed two scoops. Lucky enough it wasn't busy yet during the evening.
Mud Bayou - creamy with great chunks of chocolate, the difference in texture made this fun to eat.
