I was so pleased with everything at Sweet Soulfood! The food was delicious, and the portions were giant! Between my husband and myself, we shared fried mushrooms, collard greens, mac and cheese, jambalaya, red beans and rice, corn bread, and okra gumbo. The red beans and rice and the gumbo were my favorite. Everything was great though! The lady at the counter was welcoming and gave us a sample of cauliflower while we made our selections. Delicious! I had the cashew Mac, lasagna, and orange cauliflower which were all delicious. I also got a side of fried rice but didn’t get to try it because I was so stuffed. Staff are very friendly. Everything I ordered was a great mix of sweet and a little spicy. I do wish they had their ice creams still - it would have been nice to try, however I am so full I quite frankly wouldn’t have had any room for dessert.
