Everything about this place was amazing, from the Prosecco to the appetizers and my Steak and Eggs entrée. But the very best part was our server, Jessica, who was so kind, welcoming, and engaging throughout the meal. Thank you so much for making my friend’s 30th birthday brunch special!

Being from New Orleans it's always hard to find good quality within the French Quarter. I have been to Tableau several times now, and they never disappoint. We shared the marinated crab claws, turtle soup, escargot and the Wagyu steak with the duck heart sauce and creme brulee for dessert. It was more than amazing, and I am so glad that the first restaurant my boyfriend ever tried to New Orleans was here

The jazz music during Sunday brunch was an unexpected and nice touch for what turned out to be a good but not great dining experience. I expected so much more from a Dickie Brennan restaurant. Our waiter kept apologizing for the “slow” service and when we did get our food it was room temperature instead of hot.

Tableau has a great ambience and a really pleasant atmosphere — it's the kind of place you want to love. Service was decent and attentive without being overbearing. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. Overall, everything felt a little one-note, with an overreliance on brown butter that muted rather than elevated flavors. I ordered the fish amandine, which was poorly seasoned and very bland — it desperately needed salt and some additional seasoning to bring it to life. Dessert was the biggest disappointment. We ordered the monkey bread king cake, which was dry, flavorless, and honestly not enjoyable. Beautiful space and solid service, but the food needs more balance, seasoning, and depth to match the experience the restaurant is aiming for.

Jessica and the team provided great service. The fried oyster appetizer was fantastic, and the bananas foster was wonderful.

Crabmeat (!!) cheesecake and the Bananas foster here is not to be missed.
