“This place is PHENOMENAL!!! Oh my god, I usually stick to the same snowball stand that I have been going to for the last 20 years but when I tell you KREOLE KINGS SNOWBALLS AND THINGS has truly changed the game ….I am not lying. The snowballs are literally perfect for the weather these days. The ice is so soft it just melts in your mouth, the juice amount is perfect (they are never stingy), and the additional condiments like stuffed ice cream, candy, or condensed milk come in an abundance. However, that is not all! The food is just as good ! I couldn’t believe the wing plate …just scrumptious . I have tried the lemon pepper and the bourbon wings with the Kreole king fries and I must say they are truly delicious! Since they’ve opened, I have been back about 6 times and I always leave with 2 plates minimum because they are so good, I need a plate for later.
Kid-friendliness: In my case, my kid is a dog and I must say he loves it there. I always get him a water and ice cream and he appreciates it . When we pull up he immediately realizes where he is and starts to lick his lips lol. This place is super pet friendly and there is a park adjacent to the snowball stand if your dog needed a tinkle break.“

“Wow.. what a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The ordering process was seamless which added to the overall experience. We are truly blessed to have a restaurant of this caliber in our neighborhood. Thank you MKM for finding your way into Algiers. You have won a loyal customer. I will visit you again, and SOON!“

“Best food we had all week was our first night at Johnny’s.
We ordered and shared all the dishes, and they were all spectacular.
It’s basically a parked food truck, but the property is comfortable, and they played great music. Took pix w Johnny and our group. Curry Shrimp was my favorite.
I guess it’s also a hooka bar? Seems to be many regulars who were watching soccer on very big screen.
When in the lower garden district, don’t miss out on Johnnys“
“The employees were friendly, and the food was delicious. Some of the best food I had in NOLA ? the catfish was a little salty but still really good. Everything else was nicely seasoned, and not too salty at all. The lamb chops were mouth watering. The seafood pasta was my favorite side. I would get it over the Mac and cheese because the seafood pasta had more flavor. The greens were good also. They were out of yams. The beignets were yummy. Best donuts ever. Not too sweet. Nice and warm ? the wait is about 20-30 mins. We called and placed our order ahead of time, and we still had to wait a bit. We wished they had seating, but they have a little seating at the other location“

“My go to spot for breakfast on my way into work. It's simple and the ladies serving the food always great ya with a smile. No fancy bells and whistles just solid and affordable food. Always with the cold sunny D's and cokes, ice cold by the register. There's always time for breakfast, at this corner store.“
