Simply put, outstanding! I have traveled to over 15 countries and tried many different restaurants and cooking styles. Chef Mondy's cooking is one of the best fine-cooking experiences I have ever had. Excellent wine at good prices and a grilled octopus without compare.
Went with my partner for a 4 course Valentine's day prix fixe menu. Our server Kris was phenomenal, and recommended wines along with stirring up a Sazerac. The flavors in every course were outstanding. We each had a lobster bisque for our first course. This was a total hidden gem right above the bustling music halls of Frenchman street! The food was absolutely amazing. The charbroiled oysters, lamb lollipops, and octopus were perfection. With all the big name restaurants we visited in New Orleans, this was our favorite meal of the trip. Ambience was nice and quiet and the wines were awesome. You won't regret giving this place a try!
