A friend of mine comes to New Orleans several times a year and told me I needed to go to The Roosevelt. When I come for Christmas I will definitely be back because I bet it is absolutely stunning! The lobby is beautiful and you can feel the history in this place! I went for a cup of coffee in the cafe and also got a quick pastry/ bite to eat. There were plenty of different types of seating and TV's for leisure. Seating was comfortable as I sat in a cushioned chair/couch....
If you like GOOD HOT DARK COFFEE (iced too), this is the place to get it. The pastries are also phenomenal.
They say they have gluten free items, but we were unable to enjoy any as the sold out.

Had some breakfast credit with the hotel, so I decided to use it at Teddy's cafe. Got the andouille egg white omelet, and it was a great sausage omelette especially with a hangover! Tasty breakfast potatoes too. I got an iced coffee as well, but wasn't a fan of it.
