A warm and friendly place for drinks and food. Great Irish coffee & Cajun eggnog! There’s a cute miniature street trolley that runs around the top of the room, to boot.

The Avenue Pub is a must-visit in NOLA! With a fantastic beer selection on tap, plenty of TVs for catching a Saints game, and an awesome spicy chicken sandwich that’s to die for, it’s got everything you need. The patrons are friendly, and the bartending staff is fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by!

Book your next event here!!!

I hosted my wedding welcome party at The Avenue Pub and it went amazingly well.

The Space:
We booked out the entire second floor for the party and had the space was awesome. We had a bit over 100 people attend and it never felt too crowded. The bar area as well as the balcony were both very nice.

The Service:
All the staff were phenomenal. From doing the initial booking, to confirming all the details, to the on-site staff & bartenders, everything went super super smoothly and everyone was as nice as can be.
We had two private bartenders for the event and all my friends were awed at how well they handled the crowd. It never felt like anyone had to wait for a drink. The bartenders also did a great job at letting us know what our spend was throughout the night.

The Food:
The food was really good and the kitchen/serving staff were great at refilling our orders to ensure that there was always hot food ready for the eating. The mini chicken sandwiches were a hit.

Again, host your next event here - they run a tight ship, are easy to work with, give you a great bang for your buck, have awesome food & drinks, and most importantly everyone was so incredibly kind.

One of the best places uptown to watch a game or just people watch. Amazing tap. Best bar food in town. It ain't even close. And good bourbon selection.

Quiet place to eat with family. Easy to order. Food was good. The Tater Tots were fantastic. Perfectly salted and addictive.

Best chicken sandwich and best smoked wings I've ever had. Has the buffalo garlic flavor. Thanks to ThradEats and Mrs.ThradEats for the suggestion. ♥️

Walked here from our hotel on St Charles, as we were very hungry and too tired to navigate public transportation schedules. I ordered the Second Line blood orange saison, as well as fried fish sandwich and chips. My husband ordered a Sierra Nevada pale ale, some kind of burger, and the beef fat tots with garlic aioli. All of the food was flavorful, delightfully greasy, and quite filling.

It's not what it was in terms of beer selection and elevated pub food, but the new ownership has moved it further back in the right direction
