We absolutely loved this place: the “3-course chef family style dining” selection was superb, tuna, artichoke and main dish was a life experience. Thank you

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Due to being pregnant, dietary restrictions, and personal beliefs I do not drink alcohol. Our waitress was completely and utterly negligent. I asked for a mocktail and she wrote down half of the drink name leading to me being served alcohol. When we found out she told me “I should be fine” was dismissive and passive aggressive apologies saying she didn’t hear me say mocktail dispute our entire party hearing me perfectly fine. She flaunted her bad hearing as a reason - again zero accountability. They took the price of the drink off however that is not the point and once again extremely negligent and that has never happened to be before at any restaurant. Outside of that she was forgetful regarding new silverware, drinks, clearing the table etc. wish I had a better experience but this was horrendous.

We sat at the bar and had great service. The drinks are unique and delicious. I highly recommend happy hour. Not pictured were the chargrilled oysters that were on special on Friday. Everything was delicious.

Im from Montana and have been in New Orleans since Sunday. This place was hands down the best in every aspect! The price was worth every penny. Alexis was our server, she was everything you would want for a server, very informative and super sweet. There was 5 of us, we split 3 appetizers and 4 plates. The food was so delicious that we ordered the 4 different options for dessert, to split, and was equally satisfied ❤️ highly recommend!

To the bartender working this Wednesday, some advice:
• Don’t visibly roll your eyes at your only bar guest when they ask to see the happy hour menu at 5:40 PM.
• When your three-top asks, “What appetizers are good?” and you respond, “All of them,” it shows you don’t know the menu or you don’t care.

Visiting NOLA and consider ourselves seasoned foodies. The Bower did not disappoint! The Avocado Panzanella was a party in our mouths! The stuff of dreams.

We decided to give The Bower a try due to proximity to our hotel and man, oh man - I’m so glad we did. We went during happy hour, which is everyday 4-6. We ordered a charcuterie plate with hummus, burrata and peppers, and onion dip. It came with two housemade jams as well. Every single thing on the board was scrumptious. We also got the cauliflower, excellent. In addition, the small human in the group got buttered noodles - even those were great. This food was the highlight of the trip in terms of restaurants we tried while here. We will definitely be back the next time we come to NOLA.

Waitress was not pleasant and felt the need to say: if everyone stops talking I can tell you about the desserts. She must have lost her damn mind!! No smile on her face, just there doing her job. Disappointing!

We were really disappointed with our New Year’s Eve dinner. We opted for the fixed menu and, given the nearly $300 price point, expected a much higher standard. Portions were quite small, the meat courses came out cold, and several of the flavors felt off or poorly balanced.

For a special occasion and premium pricing, the experience did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, it fell far short of what we were hoping would be a memorable NYE meal.
