Went here twice during our 3 day stay because the seafood gumbo and chicken and sausage gumbalaya was just that good, we had to get some to go before we left the city. My kids ate very picky and even they liked it. So shocking because they hardly ever eat real food. I will say that the to go bowl for the gumbalaya seemed too small so I feel like we got more when we dined in. I think the rice and gumbo should be separated to ensure we get the same amount that would fit in the big...
The best gumbo I’ve tried in NOLA. I get gumbo most places and this one was by far the richest and most flavorful. Also, a dozen raw oysters was $18 so great deal for a shared lunch! It looks like just another sports bar but give it a chance.
Food did not disappoint! I had the gumbalaya & it had so much flavor with a little kick. It was lunch time, our waiter Calvin was friendly & answered our questions about what’s best on the menu. I would come back if I’m in NOLA again.
