I was there for my birthday and for drag brunch. The show was lots of fun. The restaurant itself was beautiful and had old world charm. We had boudin balls which was delicious but more like brisket. The shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly. The chilaquiles were delicious and better than I have had in a long time. Our waiter Max was the highlight! Very attentive through all the mayhem. Always with a smile and a great attitude! Just note that gratuity is already added. Not sure...
I'm always curious as to why a restaurant would ask if the guests are celebrating a special occasion during the reservation process and then make no mention of it during service. Odd. And somewhat disappointing.
I had only a few hours in NOLA begire I headed to Biloxi. The Country Club was the place for me. Weekday brunch menu, great bartender, DJ, beautiful atmosphere, the day pass is 👌. I loved it so much, I returned on my drive back to the airport. Spent the day bar side, had a great cuban sandwich, to die for fries, and good wine with a fantastic bartender. I will definitely be back!
