We had the cheeseburger and taste of New Orleans. Burger was handcrafted and fresh and juicy. Catfish was some of the best ever and the beans and rice were exquisite!

Well just ate here tonight, 6/9/26. And while the food was pretty good, pay attention to your bill. They added 18% gratuity automatically for TWO people. I'm a good tipper when the tip is deserved. And contrary to what a lot of the younger generations believe, tips are earned and not automatic. Now that being said, the gentleman that served us tonight did a fine job and deserved a good tip. But there is no reason to feel you are entitled to adding it automatically.

Food was great! Our waitress Ariana took good care of us, checking back often. We ate in the walkway area where we could hear the music, then moved in to the bar area because the band was on fire! The sax player is a show by himself, but the others are awesome too. Came back the second day for more food and the same band, Big Mike and the rhythm and blues band, I think, were playing again! Both nights the amazing Bridget took care of us, she is a delight. If you are visiting New Orleans, (multiple times for us), you must visit this gem!

Bourbon Heat is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is warm and attentive, and the place has such a cozy atmosphere. But what really stood out was the management team, they went above and beyond to help me sort out a misdirected package that was accidentally delivered to their address instead of my hotel. Incredible kindness from an incredible team. A must-visit in New Orleans!

The food was entirely unremarkable - the burger patty was clearly from a frozen box.
The drinks, well I paid $14.50 for one Lagunitas. Mental.
The atmosphere was like a poorly attended wake. No music in the courtyard.
The service, was passable.
Autograt on a two person cheque is wild.
Overall the price doesn’t match the expectations. And the current rating of this place suggests funny business…
