Get off the strip and away from the tourist traps and come to this neighborhood bar for a great time. Drinks and food are great and the whiskey selection will make the bougiest whiskey enthusiast cry with joy. This was our favorite bar of the trip and we can't recommend it enough!!!

My experience at Evangeline Lounge in New Orleans was nothing short of fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively. The only downside was that there was only one pool table available, which led to a bit of a wait to play a game. Adding one more table would greatly improve the overall experience for customers looking to enjoy a game of pool with their friends. Despite this small inconvenience, I would highly recommend Evangelist Lounge for a great time with excellent food and service.

They ask you if you want a double here, I’m like hell yea! it’s a Sunday night, 1/7/2024, big fellow shaved head, and tattoos all over his Mellon. I’m a bartender, I know how many seconds it takes to fill a jigger, I’m paying for a double, , 3 1/2 on vodka, 2 on kahlua, I eye balled the drink and he immediately asked me what’s wrong after he asked for $15 dollars for the drink. Had a great time last week but not one but happy with bartender.

We had a blast here on our first night in New Orleans. It's definitely a local bar with a welcoming vibe. I appreciated the late night good food. We were getting into town at 9pm on Thanksgiving and were able to eat good! We also ordered a couple drinks and played darts.

This place is AWESOME, although I may not be a local to the area ... I do come to New Orleans a ALOT!... after going to Clesi's for dinner, a friend pulled this place up and it was more than expected. The staff was friendly, and the locals were kind.
