The Goldmine is always a great time. No BS. No drama. Everyone is there to drink, dance, and have a great time. The bartenders are very attentive and the staff is very accessible if anything is needed or if there are any problems.

This is hands down my favorite bar in New Orleans. David, the owner, is so kind and helped get me my phone back after I left and told us how he invented the flaming dr.pepper. Such a fun bar. Love the music, the service and the vibes

Gold Mine was a great time! Went there Saturday night after our best friend's engagement party and we stayed until they kicked us out and turned the lights on. Place is filled with old school pinball machines and arcade games, cool vibes for sure. Really enjoyed our time there

Stay AWAY!!! My friend and I went in here during barkus to pee. They asked if we would were going to buy a drink we said yeah we will get some shots. After I already confirmed with the guy at the front door as I was walking in this older lady grabbed my wrist and said "are you sure?". Do not touch people. We went to the bathroom and ordered the shots. Later they had a $3 cover charge instead. Look it's Mardi Gras there are tons of people. If you don't want people to come in and use the bathroom or want to make money have a cover charge. Many bars do it. However, I will also say I have been to many places without a cover during Mardi Gras that don't care about ppl using the bathroom and people actually stay there and buy drinks. It was pretty obvious why there was hardly anyone in there.
