We found this bar by chance while seeking shelter from the rain. It has a quirky theme centered around toilets, which adds a fun touch. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The drinks here are big and pack a punch, starting at around $6 for basic options. Expect to mingle with a local crowd.

This is such a great place with great and strong drinks for a great price! Found this place 3 years ago and every time I come back to New Orleans I must go back! If you like a hole in the wall with cheap drinks you must go!!! Cash only!

I was told (not sure if it is accurate) that as of 1-30-2023 NOPD is monitoring The John 24 Hours with Video surveillance with Facial Recognition Software. This should help protect both the good Patrons of The John and the Neighborhood.
