A classic coffee shop; my favorite latte in NOLa. You will always meet friendly people and dogs in here, as well as people reading actual books! The owner, Fred, is as nice a guy as you’ll ever meet. Good pastries and outdoor seating.
What a great find. Off the main drag in a colorful neighborhood, with plenty of parking. Very good coffee. A few gluten free options. Fresh juices. Pre-made goodies, quiche, bfast burritos (so-so). Eclectic vibe. Music went along with the vibe, perfect volume. We came at 1:30 in the afternoon, no wait and open seating.
The coffee was great and the server was super nice. I chilled there for a bit on the couch and read a book and drank my americano. My only issue is I think the bathroom had a sewage smell and it eventually smelled in the whole cafe. Maybe it was just that day. But a great spot and right next to my hotel!
