I received my package today and I loved the variety I received. I didn't know I'd be getting a spicy bowl but when I say videos do those no justice .. It looks delicious and the taste? Highly recommend!!

I ordered on 04/30/2025 as expected I waited to look at the order since process time is 5 to 7 days from order date, usually my opinion is that business like to meet or exceed expectations. I normally would not post about a small business, but no order updates have been sent. I just disputed the charge with my bank because the email to check on the order takes an additional 48 hours for response.

I’ve been watching RollingwithMelia for sometime and had been super eager to purchase a spicy bowl and even try pig lip for the first time. I traveled from MS to Memphis, TN to finally purchase. I cannot say I am satisfied with my purchase. To begin, I was not expecting the seafood combo bowl to be $36. Nonetheless I purchased, unlike the bowls I see prepped online, mines had very little banana peppers and jalapeño peppers, mostly pickles (which I like pickles, but I was expecting a healthy balance of the 3). The sauce was not as flavorful and was lighter in color in comparison to videos posted on Instagram. The seafood itself was cooked well; the crawfish really stood out. I ordered my mom the seafood pasta salad; she absolutely LOVED it! I also ordered her the spicy bowl with just eggs. She enjoyed the eggs, but the sauce was less flavorful in comparison to the eggs; more so spicy and vinegary. In addition, I ordered the candied pineapple and grapes. The grapes were really good, BUT the candy gets stuck in your teeth something serious; there were only 9 grapes. The pineapple was pretty good, but the candy did not stick to the pineapple in its entirety and it was only 3 pineapples, such a rip off for $15! Out of the two, the grapes were the best. I asked about the pig lip in the form of a comparison between the candied and the regular, but the response I received compelled me to digress and ultimately opt out of trying the pig lip altogether.
The service was SUBPAR! Overall, the experience was disappointing and I will not be traveling for The Original New Orleans Snack Box again. I’m not saying don’t try them out, however, I will say be prepared to spend over $50 if you want to try multiple items; and do not expect top tier service from Melia’s team (I was not serviced by Melia).
Unwarranted suggestion: I expected a small bag of ruffles based on advertisements, however, after trying I’d suggest including at least a medium size bag of ruffles considering the portion amount of each bowl combined with the price.

I LOVE MELIA! When I first started TikTok she seen I didn’t have much to do cooking videos with , she was supposed to be just dropping me off a spicy bowl instead she came back with a air fryer, a big microwave, a Mickey Mouse rice maker, and so much more brand new from Walmart. I love Melia so much she is such a sweet and great person that’s why she is so blessed and her spicy bowls are the best in New Orleans I done tried others. Keep doing you Melia New Orleans love you . 🫶🏽🫶🏽

I wouldn’t know how the food tastes because I still haven’t received my order and I placed one a year ago. Please don’t tell your customers you started accepting online orders and will ship them if you never plan to do so. It would be a tad different if I’d gotten news or updates about the order in an entire year’s time, but I’ve received nothing. You seem like a nice lady but your service has been unprofessional and disappointing. I’ve tried on multiple occasions to get in touch with you after giving your service a second chance and I’ve realized my mistake. If you’re reading this and are/were thinking about ordering from the website, DON’T!!!!! Save your money and time.

Finally caught up with this food truck and was totally disappointed. We ordered 100 dollars worth of things and nothing we had was good. We got a seafood combo spicy bowel and it was very watery and lacked the spice. The candied pickle all the candy fell off as soon as we picked it up. We got a candied watermelon that was disgusting. We also ordered candied pineapples that we ended up getting for free because they were melted. The Cajun pickle WAS NOT CAJUN AT ALL!! The candied pickle had more spice than the the pickle that was suppose to be spicy!! We were confused! Then lastly the candied grapes…………No!! I don’t know if we caught them on a bad day or what but all we can say is we went to support and that will be our last time. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. I placed an order on Black Friday. My order was shipped and on the day it was scheduled to be delivered I get a email from UPS that my package was damaged in transit and was returned to sender. Immediately DM’d the owner. No response. I then emailed and got an automatic reply that someone would reply in a few business days. Week later after no response I hopped on one of her lives and let her know my package was returned. She responded to message her. I did. Waited no response. I sent another email to a different email. Waited no response. I then text the phone number that the owner frequently post. No response. I’ve commented on post and made a comment on her FB page. No response. I am so disappointed because I ordered a pig lip bowl before that and received it and would have been happy to be a loyal customer but that did it for me.
