Came here on a Saturday night during our visit to NoLa. The bartenders were great and fairly efficient considering the lines at the bar. We ordered a couple of cocktails and the spicy chicken over grits and fries. The chicken was nice and crispy and had a kick which made the whole dish enjoyable for a late night app. There was no line when we came in, but when leaving there was a line waiting to get in. The food came out really quickly which was surprising considering how busy it was. Our only big issue was the line for the restrooms which took a while since they only have 2 individual restrooms so a line formed that went half way through the patio. Overall, it was a nice place to pop into! Even if it was busy, we didn't feel like we couldn't move or get through the crowds so they do a nice job at controlling capacity.

In a neighborhood where you can get by playing it safe or tying yourself to a gimmick, they decided to be bold and creative in their menu. While not everything will appeal to everyone, everyone will find something that rises like an underdog fighter to electrify them.

They have really good food but ask about shellfish in the recipes if you have allergies because it may not be listed on the menu. The drinks were outstanding in taste and well made. The bartenders are always keeping busy but are nice enough to give good recommendations for other places to visit. Music is great.

Ordered a Dark and Stormy and got a shot of rum poured into a glass of Mr. and Mrs. T's sour mix. Absolutely, abjectly, 100% awful. Nice patio, though.
