I am sitting here watching him serve customers. He does not have a mask or gloves on. He's handling food with his hands. And he is eating while serving customers. SMH

One of the vendors within Pythian Market in the central business district of New Orleans. Your order at the register and then wait for the food to be prepared. The employee was less than enthused, which is pretty much the only reason this isn't a 5-star review. I ordered the hot diggity gator dog, which is an alligator hot dog served in a warm bun smothered in chili, cheese, onions, jalapenos, and their zydeco sauce. It also came with wedge fries. Everything was great! For as unhealthy as it sounds, I didn't feel crappy or sluggish afterward. I was pleasantly surprised!

Stopped in Pythian Market for a quick bite and stumbled upon this spot. The Hot Diggity Dog -- all-beef hot dog with cheese, onions, jalapenos and zydeco sauce -- seemed like the fastest option so I went with that. Not quite sure what zydeco sauce is but don't think I want it again -- a sort of spicy honey mustard situation. "House Chips" were frozen fries that I was able to dress up with the variety of hot sauces provided. Not in a huge rush to return.

My daughter really enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwich. I think with all the sauces and spice you get while dining in New Orleans she just needed something basic and TJ gave her exactly what she was looking for. Plus in all realness, I grabbed a handful of her homemade chips and they were delicious!

This was my first time in the Market. I saw their pictures on the Pythian Market website, and I decided to go check it out. The hamburgers are cooked to order. It looks like everything on their menu is. It was actually pretty good. I wish it had just a little more seasoning, but I enjoyed the burger so much that I wanted another one. The fries were meh. If the fries were crispy and salty, I definitely would've given TJ's five stars.

Jeff knows his way around a kitchen and his cuisine is outstanding. Alligator kabobs are off the chain!
