Served a good breakfast, but nothing special. Probably would not recommend you go this far if staying in the quarter. Would be a good neighborhood choice.

Our first time eating at Toast ! Super friendly staff, clean and super fast service! Best french toast ever! Never had french toast quite like this! Will definitely go back!

Toast is just a wealth of information. It's amazing to me how an individual can teach and entertain so effectively! The splendid homes and architecture of this beautiful district in New Orleans was explained with intelligence..as well as enthusiasm and humor. It's clear Toast enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the history of New Orleans,as we enjoyed listening to him describe this beautiful district in detail. Every question answered with added information. He seemed to enjoy us as well, and we are baby boomers. I love to read, and one of the best ways to acquire knowledge is through reading and studying. Toast has clearly done his homework concerning this diverse and vibrant city. His Mom should be proud!

The food was very good and so was the service. The portions were very large. We ate there two mornings and could not finish all on our plate. The service was attentive and professional. In spite of the fact that the tables were clean both days, they were tacky to the touch; not sure why but it was a little off-putting. I would definitely return!

I would not ever recommend eating here. Everything is dirty and the servers are terrible. Well mine was not all of them. I dont recall her name but I feeling rushed and she was snappy.

We dined here on our last morning in NOLA. It was a quick decision to eat here influenced mainly by its location. The food was generously portioned but just average. The dining room is very small and they keep the silverware on the table which seemed counterproductive to containing germs. I found the wait staff to be a bit rude as the waitress refused to acknowledge us without our masks on - even while we were sitting at the table drinking coffee, which is completely ridiculous. I ordered toast with my breakfast, which never came even after several requests - ironic, since this place is actually called...Toast - you would think they would be able to prepare the toast quickly. We would dine here again if we were in a pinch for time, but otherwise would look elsewhere.

In a city brimming with atmosphere, Toast brings it to a new level; they took an old corner building and, even after renovation, managed to retain a lot of its former character which lends itself well to a great restaurant. Everything on the menu seems to be an idea straight from the kitchen (it's one of the few places I've seen that incorporates fried catfish with breakfast) and they never disappoint, as evident from their constantly can't-miss specials. Even the coffee is phenomenal. Really, if you've spent any time in New Orleans, you know there are just some eclectic places around full of interesting people and unique experiences. This is one of them. It's well worth the wait, which has never been more than 30 minutes for me, and it's competing with the absolute best brunch places anywhere.

Crepes, best casual breakfast spot

Nothing is bad on the menu. I really enjoy the Ratatouille omlette. The Abeleskivers with chocolate are a great start to your meal.

Go early as this place is always busy. Any toast option is great and their menu is quite unique. Will keep going back to try more things.

This is a place known for it's good food and casual atmosphere. I ordered the Monte Cristo with Lyonnaise potatoes, and my husband ordered the Hangar steak with tarragon aioli and potatoes. We also had coffee and split an order of aebleskivers (like pancake donuts...but better). Everything was wonderful and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Toast is always a favorite! We sat outside and it was a wonderful scenery and the food was delicious. Only complaints were the caramel they put in the coffee was a bit.. strange. It tasted fine just got clumpy. Also the waitress was not very happy and had an attitude but still, everyone has those days.

We had wanted to visit Toast for weeks but something always came up. Finally we reserved a table, left the house and arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before and taken to our seats within 5 minutes. Oh yummy! We each had a Bloody Mary and places out order. I ordered Aebelskivers with lemon curd - so good. My friend had an omelette. Excellent - I would definitely go back
