Not the most opulent place I've ever been in and you order the food from a hatch in the wall but oh man the food is so good. I had a half muffaleta which was the size of half a wagon wheel and some sweet potato fries that were fresh cut and perfection. Highly recommend!

Had a late dinner. Tried the crayfish. Gumbo was excellent.

Crawfish was amazing

One hour to get hamburger and chicken. Pathetic bar with minimal alcohol, no beer on tap.

Edit: Originally visited in April 2023. Best crawfish in town, and that's saying something. I have been to countless crawfish boils and eaten at some other acclaimed establishments, but wow the rich buttery taste of those mudbugs was exceptional. We had to order second batch to verify the 5 star rating

So I really really do not recommend going here as you can see by the picture I asked for cheese fries I ask was it real cheese or nacho cheese some guy walked by and said something I didn't hear and the kid at the counter said blue cheese I'm like never had that before let's try it.

The kid came out 15 minutes later asking if I wanted the blue cheese on the burger or the fries like dude I order cheese fries so another guy brings my burger talking about the cheese fries are in the oven he then brings out some cold fries with hot blue cheese dressing yea dressing.

I ate 3 fries and my stomach started hurting so I went to the bathroom came back and my water was gone my napkins were gone and my ketchup was on my plate they literally cleared off my plate and then brought it back to the table once they realized that I had not left yet.

Please note I was the only one that ordered food and after talking to the locals this is the reputation they have in the neighborhood

The .1 stars from other reviews are ABSOLUTELY because of the LACK OF employees, but they based everything off of the amount of the employees and wait times which I think is ridiculous because the employees are ABSOLUTELY TRYING THEIR HARDEST. There are 2 or 3 bartenders/waitresses as a whole working... maybe. You DO have to go up to the bar for drinks, you DO have to flag these SWEET HARD WORKING waitresses down to order food, but lemme tell ya, they are TRYING their very best and doing a damn good job. The atmosphere is actually nice, and while we knew we would be waiting, we went to the bar to order drinks and take them back to the table to chill. We were in no rush, do not come here being in a rush and being bitchy.
Now the food; SO SO SO GOOD. GET THE COCHON FRIES, you will not be disappointed in the slightest. Get the fried shrimp, you will not be disappointed. Get the burgers. Go to the bar and buy a bottle of the hot sauce to take home, freaking delicious. Anyway, GO SUPPORT THIS PLACE, EAT THEIR FOOD, AND JUST CHILL.
