While I was out on the street running my nonprofit — giving out free Powerade and water to people who needed it — two absolute real ones stepped up in a big way.
Bayle and Chad didn’t even hesitate. They had my back, watched my cooler, and literally kept it from being stolen while I was busy helping people. That might sound small, but when you’re out here doing grassroots work, that kind of support means everything. They didn’t judge. They didn’t question. They just saw someone trying to do good and decided to protect that. That’s community. That’s New Orleans. What I’m doing isn’t about money — it’s about dignity. When someone is hot, dehydrated, tired, or struggling, a cold drink can feel like being seen. And Bayle and Chad helped make sure I could keep doing that today. I’ll never forget it. Thank you both for being exactly the kind of people this city needs more of. ❤️ This is why I keep going.

Went inside to have NOLA's staple Hand Grenade and absolutely loved it. Low price for a lot of drink and the staff was very nice and cheerful. The decor was personally not in my taste, a bit busy and cluttered, but I didn't hate it.
