sometimes over hyped viral places suck...this one does not. absolutely worth it. we got the fried bologna sandwich and the collard greens melt, both were incredible. huge portions, medium prices (15-20$ each), but very very worth it.

We found out about this place via Somebody feed Phil and we had saved it in our to go to sandwich places. The sandwiches were really good, I think the bread was the highlight, so soft and buttery. I had a Fried Bologna and my husband and Collard Green, which was definitely a win with its minty/yoghurty flavour and incredible cheese. The service was averageVegetarian options: Tasty options for vegetarians - no compromise on flavour If you don’t eat meat (I had the meaty one and I wish had tried the veggie one)

Solid, and every bit lived up to the hype! Our table enjoyed fried bologna, collard green melt, and burgers and each had their own unique style and taste. Great vibe, too. I would encourage everyone to take part in their 'pay it forward' program offering a meal to the needy of NOLA. Bravo!

We had an amazing experience there. It was our first time going and we happened to show up the night of the pop-up for chef Omar from Detroit. Not only was the food delicious, but the cause was even better. I have an immense amount of respect for any establishment that cares about human rights.

The ham sandwich is nothing special; you can get that anywhere. The fried Bologna sandwich on the other hand is. Well worth a trip for

I visited this place intending to try out as many sandwiches as possible, as it was high on my list of priorities while in NOLA. We got there around 11 am, and although there was already a queue, it wasn't too long and moved quickly. I ordered a fried bologna, a collard green melt, and a ham sandwich. We decided to sit inside to soak in the nostalgic atmosphere. The service was impressively fast; we were served in less than 10 minutes.I started with the fried bologna sandwich, which, despite an overpowering taste of mustard, still allowed me to savor the crispy sausage and melted cheese. Then came the collard green melt sandwich, which offered a completely new flavor experience for me. It felt like a fluffy, indulgent treat, quite different from the first sandwich, making it hard to pick a favorite between the two. However, the ham sandwich didn't live up to the standard set by the first two. It was a bit disappointing and not in the same league. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit even if you're in or around the French Quarter.

Quaint and vibrant restaurant nestled in a local neighborhood which had gobs of entertaining pop culture lining the inside of the restaurant, happy and intelligent staff or eager to take your orders and get your food delivered hot! Cute picnic tables were available outside if inside seating got too crowded. The ask is you get your food and then table so that they can turn people through the location faster , which is acceptable. Food was absolutely delicious and huge portions that you could likely share.
