I wish there was a zero stars button. Because this place is absolutely disgusting. Between the horrible staff who works here and everything they bring to the quarter it's pathetic. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. The manager curses at people the old lady is so out of touch with reality they should put her in a nursing home. Y'all need to learn what respect is in the hospitality industry or get out of New Orleans!!!!! DISGRACES

Although souvenir shops are a dime a dozen along Decatur, this one is by far the cleanest and most organized with items of higher quality. Probably the best place to pick up your Cafe du Monde souvenir (mugs, shirts, ornament, magnets, keychains and other kitchen must-haves). Of course, they also offer the famous coffee and chicory. Cafe Du Monde coffee and chicory is traditionally served au lait, mix half and half with hot milk. The very first coffee stand opened back in 1862 so there's a lot of history in the name!

I am *so* glad we found this spot while waiting for our brunch reservation to open up next door! My boyfriend and I had been visiting quite a few shops throughout our week in New Orleans, and neither of us could decide what kind of souvenir we wanted to bring home. When we saw all of the Cafe Du Monde goodies inside Uncle Wilbur's Emporium -- at the same price point as any of the souvenirs available for purchase at the actual Cafe Du Monde -- we finally knew exactly what kind of souvenirs we were looking to take home, and they were all inside the walls of this building. This shop features anything from napkin holders modeled after the cafe's, to souvenir mugs, totes, shirts, tins full of coffee, beignet mix, and even vintage-style signs. You can even buy one of the paper hats that employees wear around the actual cafe for 25 cents! My boyfriend ended up buying a shirt for himself and one for his dad, and I bought a pink mug and a sticker for my computer. I definitely wish I could've fit more in my suitcase home, because there were so many more items I wanted to buy. If you're looking for a ton of Cafe Du Monde souvenirs without the long lines, look no further than Uncle Wilbur's Emporium!
