one of my favorite ambiances here. decorated with attention to detail (rosette napkins, bumpy green glass water cups). tried oysters for the first time, loved ? great friendly service.

Unprofessional management. Still waiting on a W2 that should have been sent out in January. Had to report them to the IRS for withholding, as I don’t think they ever filed paperwork that I worked for them. Also had a HELL of a time getting paid when I worked for them.Worst job I’ve ever had. The food is okay, but the disgusting manner which they “hold” themselves would make you think twice about eating here.

Came in for happy hour special, $6 for dozen oysters with a purchase of a cocktail. The oysters were the worst I've ever had and the slices of lemon were slivers. I didn't understand why they gave us crackers with it but I know now it was to wash down the bad taste of the oysters. The concept of the restaurant is cool in theory as it's vampire themed. The food however was mid.

Went in for a reading. Richard was awesome! Hit the nail on the head with my situation. Didn't eat or drink anything but it was a really cool atmosphere. Not overly crowded like the other tourist hotspots. Would recommend to anybody and we'd definitely go again.

Quite easily the nicest place that we found in the French Quarter. It did not have the 'tourist' vibe that most did. The drinks were great and very fun. The service was the friendliest that we encountered in the city when we visited too. Highly reccomended. We stayed for drinks only

We didn’t eat, we had drinks at the bar. Brandon was great, friendly and fun. We had the Sazerac; it was perfectly made. Stop by!

The Apothecary is a cute witchy bar in the French Quarter. The staff were kind and the drinks were strong and delicious. I got a tea leaf reading. It was quick but the reader was kind. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

We stopped in here for an early dinner before a walking tour. Loved the vibe and decorations but the service was less than stellar. It wasn't that busy but our waitress couldn't get water filled and we would have had two drinks but she never even came back to ask us. The food and drinks were good though.

Sometimes the idea of a place is way above the actual experience. That's kinda what we felt when we went to The Apothecary today. The hostess was so sweet and treated us kindly. But when it came to our waiter, not so much. He made us feel like we were bothering him by being there. My daughter and I discussed if it was personality or what. But all I can say is, if you work in a job that counts on tips then your personality needs to mesh with it. When we asked about a substitute for a side we were told the only things available were on the menu. The item requested was on the menu. Then we were rolls it was an up charge. That's no problem but it felt like maybe it was for him. ‍ Maybe a bad day. We had the rib-eye fingering potato's and asparagus. The blood bag pomegranate lemonade The boneless short ribs with fingerling potato's with (up charge) and mashed potato's. The food was good and the ambience was quirky. But we didn't enjoy the experience as much as we were hoping for. pomegranate lemonade.

Place was very pretty, with a prohibition meets Sabrina the Teenage witch vibe if you know what I mean. Very committed to the theme and perfectly catches the New Orleans mystery and supernatural spirit. Must try Absinthe, it was such a cook experience the whole preparation, never seen it done before and it was quite entertaining! We only had some cheese cause we had eaten already but was tasty, although the food seemed a bit pricey in my opinion, but felt more a gourmet experience rather than a fast food place like others in the area. We had 2 servers, first one the boy preparing the absinthe was super nice, quick, and professional, the girl who was with him, who took care of us at some point on the other hand... seemed all over the place, she was messing people's orders and sneaking drinks under the bar for a quick sip every time she would grab anything from below the counter... This aside I would recommend this place if you wanna try something different and more intimate.

We were the only table in restaurant, after 40 minutes asked waiter to check on food. Cook comes out and says he gave our food to another table; we were the only table in the whole restaurant! Waiter never came back to table, neither did any other employee.

Fun little novelty bar to check out. They have themed vampire drinks. Staff was all very friendly!Pro Tip: You can get a card to a speakeasy down the street from here!
