Terrible experience. Fried shrimp are basically boiled in grease instead of deep fried. Shrimp obviously came straight out of the freezer or defrost and went into a dredge instead of being defrosted, dried, and then battered, because the batter was totally off the shrimp when I ate it 3 min later. Had to wait 25 min during lunch with only 2 people ahead of me and not a lot of food ordered or going out. $25 for a poboy, a soda, and a bag of chips. No friendly service. Nothing worth going back for.

Experienced was derailed by seeing a mouse in kitchen. True story. It happened. It’s New Orleans, so you know… but it’s hard to shake back from that.

Horrible. Rude service. Do not go here
New here from stl and the one guy at the front was rude , which is the same guy who kept answering “ walk in only” on the phone and hanging up . Also said they’re “too busy” to accommodate anything on our food . I had the Philly which was great but the service is trash and if I didn’t think positive , I would’ve been swinging over the counter . Get some act right and good customer service if you’re going to serve people !

The Staff is very disrespectful and dismissive. I waited 45 minutes for a sandwich. Staff didn’t tell me there was a wait, there was no apology. I was only offered attitude and disrespect.

Cum for the Trump. OAN is on TV
Edit: check your receipts and statements to verify charges. these bastards think you're too drunk to remember
The food is excellent, but the store is very cramped and Service is short winded as it is just a daily mark. You have to walk off the beaten path to find it but if you do, it is truly a hidden gem if you are a tourist. My wife enjoyed it so much. She did not realize she was eating the paper lol!

If you're drunk and hungry, or broke and hungry, or maybe it's the only thing open... Then it will fill you up. We had chicken soup, chicken parmesan, and mac & cheese. The quantities were huge but the taste/quality left a bit to be desired. When it's late and you're hungry, it will do. Deli is in the back of a cramped grocery. Order at the register up front.

Their sandwiches are very good. This time we had a shrimp & oyster poboy and a spicy muffaletta. Both very tasty and big!

1 star goes to the food. It was fine. Minus 4 for the customer service. It's a tiny corner store with a kitchen in the back that serves food from a walk up counter. If it wasn't 1230am and we weren't starving, we definitely would've went somewhere else. Don't know if the cashier guy was high, drunk, or didn't want to work that day. And not sure why another guy was aimlessly walking and not saying excuse me. The place is the size of a shoe box. Won't recommend, won't be back. Pack your patience if you want it that bad. Every other place we ate on our trip was 10x better.

Asked to leave with our service animal. Ignorant staff demanding documents.
