I do indeed like this little hotel bar.
I’ve been wanting to visit and tonight was the night it finally happened.
Upon walking in, I noticed this spot is an actual lounge. There are board games, tv’s , a pool table— I love that vibe. Stopping in on a Friday I knew jt would be slow as Fridays in the city can be slow at hotel bars, everyone who is in town is most likely on Bourbon or other parts the city and not the bar at their hotel. I can’t remember the bar tenders name but he was kind and friendly. Although the drink I wanted to order couldn’t be made due to out of stock ingredients, I enjoyed two glasses of champagne.
Service, great! Food, I can’t judge because the kitchen was closed. Location, perfect.. CBD, two blocks away from Bourbon.
I can’t wait to go back next week to try the drink I have my eyes on.

This local Iconic hotel bar will go down in history!!! Due to the fact that this is the exact spot I watched Caitlin Clark make her record breaking points. I wish I had her aim when I hurled my free throw-up in their restroom.

We walked in and sat at the bar. After about 3-5 minutes the bartender acknowledged we were there. This is 7:30 pm, so it wasn't super busy. I asked if they had a bar drink menu. The bartender rudely sad no and walked away! He didn't bother suggesting anything or taking my husband's order. After more than 5 minutes he finally came back to the end of the bar and rudely said " Have you decided what you are going to drink?" He seemed much more interested in his local peeps there with the band. I would never return here. There are so many awesome places in New Orleans, don't bother with this place!

Rickey B is amazing. His creativity in making drinks, Butter Scott drinks with sugars and butter, is lovely. We had a fantastic time. I would recommend it as the place to be away from Bourbon Street. Aloft is conveniently located near several hotels.

This place was a 5 star spot until Rickey B. came to entertain us as a great new friend and FUN mixologist!! Rickey ALONE at least double the rating! We had SOO much fun and trying new things. We will always remember him and look him up when we are in the area, you should do the same. Hugs and love Rickey, Big Al.

This hotel restaurant offers interesting and delicious food with great vegan options. Had a wonderful time and is highly recommended. Having stayed previously at this W Hotel the bar also offers great Happy Hour food and drink as well.
