“My daughter and I visited here on a trip late Friday night, July 5th. We were greeted by Mercedes. Even though we were there very late, Mercedes welcomed us very kindly and treated us as if we were good friends. She really showed us some great NOLA hospitality. I don’t even like Waffle House, really, but I really enjoyed the meal. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!“

“We found that the Waffle House on Read Boulevard in New Orleans is a really friendly spot with a great atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day and also have lunch and dinner items available as well. My steak sandwich was great and they let substitute grits for the normal hash browns. Our server was super nice and attentive. We will definitely eat here again.“

“Reading comments... You have to fully understand the Waffle house chain for what it is ... Fast affordable made from scratch home style cooking by line cooks whom can hear (not see) and order and prepare it quickly and accurately... My Dad took me to my first waffle house when I was in my teens, we live in Northern Idaho, so getting an opportunity to hit a waffle house was always a childhood treat. Now in my 50's, I never miss an opportunity to stop at a waffle house... Plain waffle, chicken breasts, sweet tea, hash browns with chili, cheese, jalapeno I probably my absolute go to everytime! I've taken friends whom have never heard of Waffle house, they went reluctantly, now they also stop whenever their in the vicinity of a waffle house.... The staff is probably under paid due the fact Waffle house keeps their prices affordable for the consumer... So please be polite and over tip if your able... These folks are awesome, they show up daily, make dinning experience special for nearly every guest... I've met and visited with so many amazing humans at a waffle house.... Thank you waffle house for keep this tradition going... In New Orleans for the first time and my first bfast will be today and I can't wait!!!
