“My daughter and I visited here on a trip late Friday night, July 5th. We were greeted by Mercedes. Even though we were there very late, Mercedes welcomed us very kindly and treated us as if we were good friends. She really showed us some great NOLA hospitality. I don’t even like Waffle House, really, but I really enjoyed the meal. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!“
“We found that the Waffle House on Read Boulevard in New Orleans is a really friendly spot with a great atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day and also have lunch and dinner items available as well. My steak sandwich was great and they let substitute grits for the normal hash browns. Our server was super nice and attentive. We will definitely eat here again.“
“The food at this location ranks pretty high from other locations. The staff at this one is especially friendly. From the smiles to the singing along with the juke box made it an experience. We are traveling and have not been to a waffle house in 14 years. For our 10 year old kid this place did not fail us on a the hype we have been putting on this place to our kid.“
“I work near here so I’m here pretty often and it’s a good spot to stop. The service tends to be pretty good as well as the food, and it rarely gets very busy. There’s always smiling friendly faces, my only complaint is that there can be a lot of people coming in and out who aren’t necessarily eating there. Not really their fault, just the areas in. Other than that, I have to say it’s a great place to stop.“
“We stopped at this Waffle House all the time, the parking is a little tight when it’s busy, but it’s doable. Consistent food and friendly staff. They’re always very friendly when we come in, and some of them have started to recognize us. As with any waffle house, it definitely gets busy during peak hours, but it’s fairly calm the rest of the time.“
