We were walking around, taking in the beautiful city around Bourbon St and fell into this hole in the wall. We shared the shrimp'n grits with crawdads and poached eggs and sourdough toast and OMG! It was sooo good. The sourdough was cooked on the grill in butter and was crispy. We bought a jar of starter to make our own.

Good vibes, this quiet cafe on the edge of the French Quarter's chaos was a welcome reprieve. The service was excellent and the food hit the spot without frill and was hot. Loved the original art that is both decor and for sale. Definitely a cute place for an individual or small group to grab food.

The food was good. I would have preferred my bacon to be crispy but it tasted good. The biscuits and gravy were good but not great. I had this really cool turtle mocha coffee that was delicious. My boyfriend had a dish called The Usual and he said it was fantastic. The service was pretty good but I wish she would have asked me if I wanted some more coffee. Overall, a good place for breakfast.

Granted, my sister brought me a breakfast sandwich back to our room for me as I wasn't feeling great, but it was so dry and the crust on the bread was hard. Although, the fruit "cup" was great with lots of nice cold fruit....and a lot of it! More than a cup for sure!

I placed a catering order for a Tulane Homecoming event. I called the store 5 minutes after the order was supposed to arrive and the manager let me know it was on the way. Then a few minutes later I got a call from the delivery driver who said he was 15 minutes away. This was too late and students were already on their way to their next class. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Also, the driver was very rude and tried to blame his lateness on me. Thankfully I placed my catering order through EZCater and they granted me a full refund.

Clean, good theme, great service. Friendly staff. Food is mostly “hits”… not gourmet but solid and affordable which is not easy to find in the Quarter!

They forgot half the order, there was way too much cheese on the grits so it didn’t mix well, the sausage was dry, the pancakes were bland, nothing was seasoned. The coffee and freshly squeezed orange that I paid 8$ for the best thing. 60$ and the food was no better than a McDonald’s breakfast, save ur time and money and walk down to clover grill

Fantastic place, lively staff that are a joy to be around, and delicious food. The Confito Burrito was literally the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Only thing that could have made it even better was a better hot sauce or salsa option. This is exactly the type of local joint I look to visit when traveling and any amount of time to wait for the next time I'm in New Orleans to come again will be much too long.

Popped in for a quick burrito and og bowl. Met some wonderful people (owner and employees) who clearly care about food quality… and also love what they do.

First time at this location and I gotta say it’s amazing. Feels wonderful inside the art is incredible the seats are very comfortable. The host was very inviting. My server poured a perfect cup of coffee, like right at the point where you can add just enough cream and stir it without it overflowing! Lost art. My server also checked on me and I was able to enjoy a bit of a secret menu!! Go today and ask about it Food was delicious and my fruit was fresh and so wasn’t my orange juice!!! Love love loved it! Just a few pics to help.

It’s tucked away, this place packs a big punch. The food was overflowing with goodness. The portions are very large and the colorful atmosphere was appealing to the eye.

Atmosphere is great and prices are very reasonable. A straight to the point breakfast menu that doesn’t complicate things. My issue with the visit was the unwelcoming waiter. She simply did not seem like she wanted to be there. Failed to tell us upfront you all don’t split checks, assuming someone had the finances to cover everyone (which of course they did but still). Just a full attitude and no smile or welcoming attitude, just simple there to clerk. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t friendly either. I’d opt to get my food to go next time because how could I expect to tip after that interaction?

Server was polite. Food was bad, bacon floppy and soggy w grease. Eggs were also swimming in grease. Biscuits and gravy were barely palatable....how do you mess that up???? Will never go back, wife and I will walk the other way to ruby slipper from now on. Yuck.
