There have been major improvements here. There are more cashiers. However, no one ever answers the phone. Upon returning home, I discovered I was double charged for an item and was charged for 2 items I didn't purchase. I attempted to call more than 7 times and was either not answered, placed on mute, or hung up on. Also, not only does the cashier start scanning before you can be observant, but they also place your product in bags, not caring if it's refrigerated or non food.

Brown veggies, rotting potatoes, sour milk, spoiled meats. Is this mess even legal?

Prices are high, especially with produce. Let's see what happens when Aldi's come in December.

They should have nicer people, the lady who is here today 09/23/24 at 2:00 pm Ms. Sherly is rude and despotic. Horrible treatment just because I confused her about something and she came to help me. ??

Very racist. Very unprofessional. Rude staff. The entire staff refuses to respond to anything you say. You can say thank you or excuse me and nothing gets heard. At least not for me. The cashier didnt even ask for my ID for a beer. All she did was look at me like I was stupid and hold up her hand like she wanted something. Once I gave her my ID and said Thank You, she looked at me with disgust and still never said a single syllable, including a Hello and Thank You at the end of my transaction. She did greet the person behind me that was her same ethnicity. Not the only time this happened. I guess i am not allowed to say that either. I did notice the staff talking with each other about customers however. Not welcom8ng and very disrespectful staff. Yall renovated the store. Please renovate your entire staff. As of now this is officially the worst walmart in South East Louisiana.

10AUG24 ~ I went there for stencils to paint an address on a trash can. As I walked around the store, I asked five different middle-aged women employees where I might find stencils, and I described what they were and how they were to be used. Not one of the five women knew what a stencil even was. This is just sad, really sad. Do you intentionally hire people that are so ignorant that they do not know even basic things?!? I found them only by perseverance and luck. I should have gone to Hobby Lobby.

25OCT22 ~ People, it is almost always about people as to how I feel as I leave a store, any store. Walmart has some very good people, both willing and able, but, unfortunately they are outnumbered by those that are neither willing nor able to be good representatives of Walmart. They do not seem to know or care and are not helpful or friendly, think of Eeyore & you get it.

Not rotating stock, i.e. you do not put the older items in front of the newer items. All too often I see perishable goods where the new stock is in front of the older/oldest stock. This results in items going out of date and that are supposed to be discarded. The discarded items raise Walmart's overhead & the costs are then passed on to the consumer, i.e. me. I have to pay for Walmart's failure to properly rotate your stock. Please help to keep your prices down by properly rotating your stock.

Items that are still on the shelves after the sell by date. Milk & Pico are two examples. See my attached picture of Pico de Gallo that was on the shelf but was past the sell by date.

Too many items do not have prices shown.

Too many items I want to buy you do not carry.

You have, & have had, your Christmas items up for about a month and a half, & it is not even Halloween! And you did away with most of the Garden Center items to make room for the Christmas items.

09OCT22 ~ You do not rotate your stock, i.e. you do not put the older items in front of the newer items. Hence, the older stock goes out of date & is, or should be, pulled & discarded. This causes your overhead to go up and your prices go up accordingly & I have to pay for your failure to rotate your stock. EX: Today, 09OCT22, I bought some of your whole milk. Your newer milk was in the front, with the furthest out 'sell by date,' SDB. Three rows of milk back was a gallon of milk with a SBD of 07OCT22, which is out of date & should have been discarded. Please help to keep prices down by rotating your stock to reduce waste & keep your prices down.

Too many items I wanted you did not have.

You have some nice, capable employees. Unfortunately they are outnumbered by employees who do not know or care and are not helpful of friendly, think of Eeyore & you get it.

2019 ~ Ugly experience! Please do some serious housecleaning with some of your unfriendly, unhelpful, racially biased employees at the Behrman Highway Walmart in Algiers, Louisiana.

On the evening of 28FEB19 the black female employee in the self-checkout area was openly ugly towards the white customers and friendly towards the black customers at the various self-checkout stations, in both her word choice, tone of voice, attitude, and helpfulness. She would smile and be nice to the black customers and be disdainful in word choice, tone of voice, attitude, and being unhelpful towards the white customers.

I fall into the latter category. I had two manufacturers coupons that required her to write in the dollar amount on the coupon and enter that in the cash register. When she approac
