Stopped in to get some greens, stayed for the amazing sandwiches! Excellent service; the workers were all very friendly. Plenty of seating and a comfortable atmosphere. Wish we had a deli like this back home!

Welty's, I know that I've only known you for 2 hours but, I feel like you need to know. I love you. Your Ruben sandwich is no joke. In fact, I almost tapped out with two bites left. But, I persevered. Your Trio Salad will be probably the only roughage that I consume on vacation. It looks fabulous, too. Can't wait for dinner! If it matches in quality, I will be forever yours. Went for a Muffaletta and it was the best. Welty’s has moved into a food court on the second floor of the Chase building. Make sure you find it. Friendly service and we walked away happy and with suggestions for places to try next. Closed on the weekend or we would come back both days we have left

I stumbled upon this deli by accident. Located on the second floor of a nondescriptive building you will find this outstanding local deli. The Mufalatta was absolutely off the charts good. The service was excellent and prices were reasonable.

We went in search of the most delicious Muffuletta in NOLA this morning. I'm pretty comfortable in stating we hit the jackpot. Welty's Deli, located at 201 St. Charles is a hidden gem.

Enter Place St. Charles through the street-level entryway and ride the escalator to the second floor. Welty's is to your right. If there is a line, it moves very quickly. Tina and the ladies take your order and you'll have your food before you are fully settled into our seats. Listen for your number to be called as it's sometimes a rapid-fire affair.

There are many choices here, and be sure to check out the specials. We ordered a whole Muffuletta and were rewarded with a choice of side dishes. The Italian pasta salad paired well with this 19th century Louisiana-Italian innovation. The portions are more than generous, flavorful and fresh. A must-visit for anyone visiting The Big Easy.

THE best damn sandwiches I have ever had. I was in town for 2 days, and both days I came in for lunch. The AK was magnificent and as big as my head! The next day I came back for the Club and it was the best club sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Tina and the group make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. If I am ever in New Orleans again I will be running towards Welty’s the first chance I get!

I was in town for a work event and needed to grab a quick bite. I stumbled upon Welty's Deli, and boy, what a hidden gem. Tina and her staff were so friendly and helpful, offering up suggestions and making sure we knew what the specials were. I ordered the CBD Club, fully expecting your typical average club, and to my surprise, I picked up a sandwich that mirrored something off of Scooby-Doo. Piled high with ham, turkey, bacon, and lots of melty cheese, and then the ability to dress it myself with about nine different choices of mayonnaises, mustards, hot sauce, lettuce, tomato-everything. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. If you're in NOLA, make sure you stop by, see these fantastic people, and eat one hell of a sandwich.
