This place was great! The food was Amazing!!! I had the Crab Cake Benedict and absolutely loved it. It was flavor and full of crab, not filler. It was crispy and the sauce was delicious. I love that it came with fresh fruit. The staff was PHENOMENAL! We had a great time talking and laughing with them. They made the entire outing even more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend checking this place out, and I'll definitely be going back!!!

Extremely nasty and condescending owner won’t take our name, won’t let us sit anywhere on the block while WAITING TO PATRONIZE HIS RESTAURANT? He said you were allowed to stand in the street or near the front door only. I cannot print hear what I told him

Wait was crazy, but totally worth it and the staff was great about communicating updates. The bloody Mary’s are out of this world and the Chicken fried steak is amazing and I highly suggest sneaking in a side of the potato salad somehow.

This place is the best. They can get really busy sometimes but often there are seats available with delicious food specials, and drinks. The staff is always really friendly. This is one of my favorite places in the Marigny.

One of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch. Food is always excellent and service is friendly, even when they are extremely busy.

Food is good but not worth the rude staff and owner

In response:

You mean the food that I don’t touch because the “poached” eggs were hard boiled? I came inside and asked for scrambled given that poaching seemed to be beyond your capabilities. I also offered to pay for the food (that I did not eat) and was told by the owner that “it was fine”

But thanks for the spot in your hall of fame! Now if only you could cook something properly that isn’t deep fried.

I had so many great meals on my trip to New Orleans, but the brunch at Who Dat was the one I was dreaming of when I got home. Incredible flavors, fair pricing, wonderful staff, and a delightfully one-of-kind atmosphere.

I live a block away and am a fool for not coming more often. That will change. Love me some hollandaise ♥️

Had our post-Mardi Gras recovery breakfast at Who Dat. Delicious Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection as always and friendly staff (who had to have been exhausted after Carnival season). Special props to the owner 🙏 for letting us switch to a bigger table during a busy time to accommodate a late-arriving guest. EAT HERE. 👌
