I have been coming here for a few years with my boyfriend after we stumbled upon it on our yearly trip to New Orleans. This year I brought a large group of ladies with me for a girls brunch, it was the highlight of our girls day. We had ladies from Illinois, Alabama, Arkansas and New Orleans. The owner was so accommodating, and friendly. Gary one of our servers was so entertaining, I miss him already! If you ever stop by be sure to ask for him! The food as always was delicious....
I would like to say a huge thank you to owner Craig Nero for being so accommodating when a group of 20 ladies makes reservations. Not only that, but for taking the time to tell us a bit of the back story and history of his cafe. The food was fabulous and the service was amazing!!! We are in town for the weekend to watch the Saints vs Patriots game and were trying to find a locally owned establishment to support before heading that way. I got the WhoDat big breakfast while my wife had the Bywater Benè coupled with an iced Matcha latte & let me tell you they DID NOT disappoint!
