Great chicken, fries, and honey biscuits. They have speciality 32oz cups for liquor slushies. I had a Pina colada and a margarita.

I have to give this place a solid 2.5 stars. We stopped in while exploring Bourbon Street, and I'll admit, I was skeptical from the start. Cleanliness isn't exactly the street's claim to fame, but since we were on a food tour and this spot came highly recommended by a family friend, I decided to keep an open mind. The chicken itself was crisp, golden, and clearly well-prepared. I'm not much of a fried food person these days, but vacation calls for exceptions. I sampled just one or two bites of everything since we were tasting our way through the city, and while it was fine, it didn't stand out as a must-return experience. The flavor was decent, but I've definitely had better chicken elsewhere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit pleasant. And as a Lil' Wayne fan, I have to give credit where it's due--the mural inside caught my attention right away and was a fun surprise. I also ordered a daiquiri, which I only made it halfway through. Overall, I didn't dislike anything about this place, but I wouldn't make a point to return. If you're already on Bourbon Street and in the mood for something fried and easy, it's worth a stop. I imagine it tastes even better after a few drinks, which might be part of the charm.
Catfish, Chicken, Shrimp & Biscuits were fresh and really, really good. Service was good, nice atmosphere, overall a really good experience.

Willie’s Chicken Shack is a flavor-packed experience from start to finish! The chicken is perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside — absolute perfection. The sides are just as amazing, and the atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and full of New Orleans charm. Staff is friendly and fast, making every visit a great one.
