I ordered brown chicken stew with a side of rice and steamed cabbage, but one or two chunks of chicken was too much bony and didn’t have enough actual chicken meat. The place was not bad, the owner was pretty nice and easygoing.

What are the new hours of this establishment? Came by multiple days and you were closed.
Drove here only to find out they have a closed sign on the door
it is 7:32 PM and they are closed and they advertised they close at 9:00 PM. Please be mindful that the phone does not work and they possibly can’t be closed when you get there.
Absolutely loved the food. This was my first time trying Jamaican food and I am sold for life. The people running the place are also very kind and the place gives homely feel.

Fiyaahh meat pies!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Not enough food for the money I paid. Food is good but not enough. If you wanna get good food and great mouth for your buck try Jamaican jerk house on st Claude ave. Atmosphere is better as well
Oxtail had flavor but it was so tough it was inedible. I only ate the rice and gravy. Curry chicken was ok. I didn't receive my jerk chicken so I can't rate that. They didn't have the cran water & coconut water I ordered but someone did call & offered me a substitute.
This is my main place. High turnover for the front desk waiters and waitresses. New faces every few months. Food quality keeps changing because I believe there is also turnover with the kitchen staff which largely goes unseen.
The environment is cool, sometimes they are just randomly not open. A little disappointing. Overall, I’ll always go here when I’m close by.

I ordered the Jerk Chicken plate. The Jerk Chicken tasted like regular baked chicken with not much seasoning or spice and it was dry. The rice and peas and veggies were fine. I'm a little disappointed.

I really enjoyed the food! I got the oxtail and jerk chicken combo with a beef patty. Everything was fresh and flavorful & I could literally eat the sides by themselves! Definitely will be returning.

It goes to show that sometimes you cannot go by a business reviews because I ordered this food and got there and for some reason I decided to look at the reviews and they were not good. I almost canceled my order because I do not have $30 to throw away. However, I didn't cancel I went through and when I tell you that oxtail had me licking 5 fingers...... it was really really good. I'm Jamaican so this is authentic oxtail and rice and peas that I just ate no imitation. Big ups to the chef!
