Dont judge a book by its cover applies here. Ugly building, great food. They are ahead busy, but this family restaurant meet makes you wait. Cooked when you order but always fast and delicious!
I like this resturant. Fyi, it's not a chinese resturant. The sign says seafood in bold red letters. Sure, they have shrimp fried rice, dumplings ,and eggrolls but still it's mostly seafood. Their chicken wings are good...you can make party plates for parties. The poboys are pretty good,too. People who aren't local from here usually get those. So you should stop by false river seafood.

We decided to try this place this weekend, because we were in the mood for seafood, but didn't want the "spice" level at our other favorite place in town. We noticed when we walked in that it's kind if a divey place, but often times dives have some of the best food. The prices were reasonable for seafood. We both ordered shrimp and fish. The fish is cooked to order, so it took a little bit, but not that long. There were people coming in and out the entire time we were there picking...read full review
