Food was excellent. I had the Al Capone and my wife had the Liz Taylor. We had the chocolate pecan pie and the ice box pie for dessert. Staff was friendly. Kitchen service was very very slow. 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and only 2 other customers. Thus the 2 star rating for service.

I got a Tuna salad sandwich while on the run to a client meeting in the area, and wanted to support local rather than a chain. The sandwich was good. The service was great, and I learned some history about the building. The building itself is 100+ years old, and the current owners are only the 2nd family to own it.

Nice lil spot to stop & enjoy a light lunch (soup & salad) or have a cup of fresh brewed coffee & a sandwich! Food is fresh & home made to order! Also pass some time and chit chat with the owner Miss Wanda for a wonderful treat!
