They sneakily slap a 4% fee for credit card transactions, when the actual cost to them is nowhere near that figure. Most credit card companies charge businesses around 1.7% to 2.5% for transactions, yet here we are, being gouged for an extra 4%. Not only is this a blatant cash grab, but it's also a gross misrepresentation of the true costs involved. It's no secret that credit card users tend to spend far more than cash customers, which directly benefits the business. Add to that the reduced risk of theft and the time saved on cash handling, and it becomes clear that the business is profiting handsomely from credit card transactions, much more than the 1.7% it’s costing them for this. Instead of acknowledging these benefits and adjusting their pricing accordingly, they choose to nickel and dime their customers under the guise of covering transaction fees. This is not just unethical; it's downright deceitful, especially since there’s no notices of this deceitful practice here. I refuse to patronize any establishment that engages in such deceptive practices. It's high time they stopped hiding behind inflated fees and started treating their customers with the respect they deserve.
Great employees here, always helpful.
Not the same, once it was not Kajeune’s anymore the store has going way down, they are not friendly people, they lost my business.
Great food, service and diner! Food was excellent flavor, grilled pork chops and vegetables. Servers were friendly, very clean restaurant.
Very nice
Normal convenience store, I didn't notice anything different from any other day.
This is without a doubt the rudest people that own that store kajunes ( off of Judson Walsh) which is why I am boycotting I hope and pray no one ever goes to your store again after all the money I spend there!!!!!
This used to be a good place. Ate lunch there today. Girl taking orders is very slow & forgetful. Asked me 4 times what size burger I want. Then our order was messed up anyway. They gave my fries to my husband & forgot to add his bacon to his burger. The food is all waaaaaay over salted. My husband paid & when I asked him how much I know we had to have been overcharged. My burger was $5 and fries $2. His burger was 9 (extra charge for bacon!) We both had fountain water, not bottled. Our bill was over $20. I went up & asked for receipt & was told she couldn’t give me one. I won’t go back.
Best kept secret in town, wife says just like grandma's, if this ain't Acadian style Cajun soul food then you've never had it. This is truly the old style country cooking of this region. Y'all need to be careful of the smothered okra, not sure its actually legal, its ADDICTIVE! Seriously there's a lot of love going into those pots back there. The daily specials truly are, hats off to the home style, no yuppie BS here. Our new favorite spot. Oh yeah, their butcher block market is right next door, yeah, ITS ALL FRESH! Pam & Lynn

Best little diner!! Home cooked meals plus salads, poboys and the best Homemade hamburgers ever!! Friendly staff and great service.
Plate lunches served daily. Friendly staff, good food, priced right. Small dining area. Take out available. Kid friendly. Packed for lunch. Great place for hamburger, poboys, salads, soups, hamburger steaks and club sandwiches.
Its a neighborhood restaurant, and the cooks are the best in the area. There is a different plate lunch each day. Get there before 12 noon if you want a place to sit.
Family type restaurant. Good people. Home cooked meals, but also a menu of to order meals. Reasonably priced. Reasonable wait time. Will adjust daily Lunch menu according to personal preference. Worth the stop. Consistency in meals. You'll love the fried pork chops! Too
Known for their plate lunches, make sure to come early to get one before they run out! Barbeque pork steak is always a winner but can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
